at 5:07, there is a mistake, Even touring doesn’t have heated rear seats. Also, price difference between EX and touring is $3600. Here are all the features you get if you go for touring: full digital gauge cluster, 9 inch screen with navigation, 12 speakers Bose premium audio, wireless carplay & android auto, wireless charger, LED fog light, rain sensing windshield wipers, Turn signal indicators on the side mirrors, additional front USB port, 2 rear USB ports, 8 way power driver seat, 4 way power passenger seat, sport mode plus paddle shifters, leather seats, 18 inch wheel with 235/40/R18 tire. Front and rear parking sensors. For $3600, I think it’s worth it, you do get a lot of features.

Great job! I'm in Austin and bought my first Honda (a Civic S) in the mid 80's from 1st Texas Honda - best move a new UT graduate could make. Put 100K on it in 6 years and then took a 12K long road trip across the West coast to hit the National Parks and the PCH to Seattle and back. Only problems were a broken headlight (rock) and a flat tire! Nothing beats a Honda for reliability and ROI. I think you did "miss" the sunroof but no big deal. Keep up the good work - these are the best blow-by-blow reviews on the net!

Loved this review. I'm turning in my 2019 EX lease for the 2022 version. Hate that the power seats are gone 😐 But love the blindspot sensing (every car should have it no matter what) and that they finally put the track change and volume buttons on the same side of the steering wheel 🥺😂 Also the full LED headlights ... FINALLY 🥺

I like that you compare this to the other trims. If you are USA based, however, it should be noted that the Sport trim also gives up heated seats. But it does not give up remote start. Overall really like this review style, and i’m glad you have the EX here and not the Touring, like everyone else.

Wow! Exactly what I was looking for with the trim (+blind spot monitor) that I was interested in. TIP: Put on closed caption and .75 speed if you want more time to process the information. Well a few things that you did NOT mention far as differences and were the sellers for me when I chose my 22 Civic EX over the sport was these two VERY specific things. 1) was rear seat charging ports. HUGE for me. The sport model does not have this and 2/ fold down armrest with cup holders. These were the 2 factors for me that made me go UP from the sport and hold at the EX. I did not need navigation b/c of apple , android car play. This trio comes with the moon roof. Don’t need wireless charging long as I have charging ports. So this model was the one for me....HOWEVER; however;. With inventory being low. At the time of purchase. I could only get white with gray interior and I HATE gray interior so I did pay an extra 1900$ to add leather.....sooo, yes. I did do that but....I did not have too. It was a preference for me b/c of the interior color. Now I could have waited 3 months and HOPED one came in with dark interior but I didn’t feel like waiting so..that’s what I did...but the EX is hands down....the best model for me.....

5:13 The 11th gen sport does come with remote start and smart key entry. 4:54 Also if you get the touring trim it comes with a 12 speaker Bose premium sound system, not a 450 watt 10 speaker. I could be wrong but I got the information from the Honda website.

New 2022 KIA Forte GT, 201hp Turbo charged engine for the same price as the EX. (Though let's face it, we know the GT is not going to be as reliable over the long haul.)

11G Civic only uses a revised camera - no more radar for frontal collision avoidance. Also the traction control limits wheel spin on slippery surfaces and does not transfer power wheel to wheel like a limited slip.

What I will miss that I currently have on my 2019 is the camera mounted mirror on the passenger side for a great view of my blind spot and what is coming from behind as well as the power seat on the driver's side . Why did they remove the storage pouch behind the front seat on the passenger side ? Very cheap but useful. These are my complaints.

Great review! The only thing I'll point out is the Touring no longer has heated rear seats. It sucks- Honda seems to be decontenting when it comes to certain features from the previous gen, though I will admit that they added a few new std features such as LED headlights & interior lights, Apple CarPlay & tweeters on the rear door. Just wish they maintained the soft touch upper panel on the front doors of the lower trims, the EXL option, and the map pocket on the passenger rear seat of the lower trims.

Why does my 2022 Honda civic have a spot under the passenger side floor mat that lifts open? It’s like a small compartment. It’s square shaped and the piece of carpet pulls out and there is foam on bottom part of the piece that comes out!

Couple of things, Sport does have keyless entry. Also, you lose dual zone AC by dropping to Sport which for me is huge as my gf always wants it the coldest lol

In Mexico they’re are only 3 trims, Lx 2 liters naturally aspirated, no Honda sensing, $26000 dollars, / Sport trim with sunroof 1.5 liters turbo $29,000 dollars no Honda sensing, / Touring trim, sunroof, with Honda sensing $31,500 dollars
