One of these days you're just going to have to go full on Pat Finnerty on a song or two. This one definitely needs to be torn down. I can't question the musicianship, but everything is so disjointed--there's no flow--no rhyme or reason, just a lot of random stuff thrown together with no thought to consistency. In short, no matter how good it could have been, it just sucked. Shock effect with a complete lack of cohesion. Not impressed.

Hey Justin, one for comments day if you don't mind. It really struck me when you referred to Easter is Cancelled as being a divorce album for you. I wondered how it feels to perform those songs and whether they evoke difficult memories (which would definitely be at odds with your high energy performances) or once written and performed over time do they take on new associations? Would you consider your song writing a necessary catharsis to get you through tough times?

Props to the video artist. They have some nice lenses. This kid clearly has some kind of talent for wielding a bunch of modern-ish styles in quick succession, but everything he's going for is super contrived. It's like MCR, then it's like Manson, then it's like trap, then a Mr Bungle muzak breakdown, then a Panic!-ish chorus. He needs to cultivate his own sound. I also can't help but feel he's manifesting the very thing he's trying to satirize - modern youth's desperation for the internet to "make them famous". Speculation, perhaps? Love the show!

We were listening to a lot of Nuclear Assault, DRI, SoD, Kreator and Death at the time. Our first song was called Monkey Lab. The lyrics consisted of 'monkey lab' being barked repeatedly. Do you remember the first song you wrote (and did it have more than two words in the lyrics)? Love the channel and was very pleased to see you giving The Sisters a shout-out a few weeks back!

Interview With the Vampire was brilliant and a completely fresh take on the genre that turned it upside down (didn't just follow the simple old psychopathic, thin versions of such plots up to that film.) And then every man made a vampire movie. And then my dog also made one. And then every man's dog, and even some women, made vampire movies as well. And you could buy vampire burgers at Mc Donalds for the kids, I think. I might have given one to my dog. He wasn't fussy. And vampire teabags became all the rage. Just tie a string to a used tampon, and there you go. Hang on, I think that was schoolgirl panties they started selling at vending machines somewhere. Sorry, my ... hyuk hyuk ... Vlad. I was looking for a comment mentioning Bungle! This feels to me so much like a continuation of what Bungle were doing back in the day, it's just a different mix of genres than what Bungle were using. I think incorporating so many different genres is only a gimmick when that's the only draw to the music, but with artists like Kim, Bungle, and Twelve Foot Ninja they do it so damn well that I find it hard to call it a gimmick. Or at least, if it is a gimmick, I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.

I think the YT algorithm recommend this close to its debut to me. Saw it a bit ago. I am pretty diverse in my music but the way this was presented it was hard to tell what is possibly in the actual song and what may be just something created for the video. If I had enjoyed it musically would have to stream the actual song before purchasing. All for art and understand the hustle in today's music landscape but this I thought went too far especially since it sounds like it's gotten millions of views when it seemed to be making a statement about violence being used to make one famous. Now learning of the TikTok connection it makes a bit more sense musically. I'm guessing since at the time was watching a bunch of Mr Bungle and Dead Cross it got recommended to me in the first place.
