Same! I understand that for the purpose of the documentary they had to focus on only a few stories and probably made that selection by choosing people with personal struggles that the audience could resonate with, but the whole 6 hours I kept wanting to see more of the other people on the team. They are all a big important part of it and I was so curious about them. It is really one big family and it is so sweet to see it in this vlog.

I’m late to bandwagon of Cheer and just got into it earlier this week and binge watched both seasons. Just wanted to let you know that I think competitive cheerleading is so cool and it’s a crazy sport and someone who doesn’t consider it a sport is stupid. To do the stuff y’all do it really pushes your bodies. To see the first season and see the ups and downs on the execution of the routine and then totally hitting at nationals and winning for the third year in a row was so rewarding to watch. Every time I saw a clean hit I would squeal and not knowing if all the girls would get up, it’s nerve wracking. Then season 2 came along. I think season 2 was a cursed season from the get go... y’all couldn’t compete for 2020, coronavirus is making everyone nervous and making it hard to compete all the time and as often as needed. A lot of people left that were on the winning team. There were way more rookies than vets. Monica isn’t coaching you guys, she’s literally not in the same state for the first season. She hired a shitty coach who didn’t know how to execute every single stunt and pyramids and respect between the team and towards her and the team. Then the worst thing that can possibly happen your teammate let you all down by doing something unforgivable. That threw everybody off and I feel like some of y’all were so close to him and you trusted him like family and he was actually someone you never knew you lose trust in others around you and it’s hard to bring that team spirit back up. Especially now that you have an unfair reputation now because of one teammates selfish decision. All of you had to pay, and it affected all of you. The bashing D’larius was doing online was probably super distracting. Even though y’all didn’t win like I wanted you to especially with all the stuff that was thrown at y’all during that season, I really feel like the judges had a bias even though they’re not supposed to while scoring and were super disappointed that the cheer association got a huge fire lit under them because of Jerry’s actions. They probably had a grudge. Thought y’all were causing problems. I think even if y’all hit perfectly both days they still would’ve given it to the cardinals. They would’ve picked something to deduct a tenth from. I really feel like that the reputation of Jerry’s actions really put your team at an unfair disadvantage. I feel like the fan base wanted Trinity to finally beat you guys. I feel like the judges were unprofessional and stuck in their feelings and unfair view on your team rule their judging. I really hope Monica doesn’t give up. I’m surprised that she is not hiding out in her house with the amount of hate that she has received. She’s damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t. Monica is clearly probably the only coach that’s capable to coach at such a high level. I don’t think her quitting and a fresh coach coming in would be a good move. Maybe if she taught the strategy with the new coach and was assistant coach for the next couple years while creating her guru so she can finally retire and not stress so much. I deal with anxiety and when I’m anxious my face is like Monica’s where you can tell that you’re anxious as fuck. I hope she’s tried therapy and maybe considers seeing a psychiatrist. She just wants to be perfect I feel like if she truly had anxiety and panic attacks she doesn’t want to be known as having that label and is required to take medication whenever she gets anxiety. Honestly I would feel so stressed seeing her face when she was anxious and she was extremely anxious a lot in both seasons of the documentary. That amount of stress can’t be good for her mental and physical health. It might not be a bad idea if she literally took a chill pill. She needs to swallow her pride because I feel like Monica is not the type of person to even take an ibuprofen she just pushes through the pain. I’m just rambling at this point. I just wanted to let you know how badass I think cheerleading is now and I love how I know certain cheer lingo and how the judges score. And the number one thing is how hard and demanding this sport is on the body.
