Something to keep in mind as well is that the CE-2 & the CE-2W clip when you hit them with drive, which makes them sound "huge" and slightly "flangy". I personally like it, it's a cool sound, but keep in mind that it will not stay clean when hit with drive.

That Tri Avatar is absolutely killer chorus pedal. I bet you can get all type of chorus John using in live just from a single Tri Avatar (from standard CE-2 type to dimension chorus and tri-chorus, and even rotary).

FTT Tri Avatar is absolutely phenomenal. I am a Chorus-junkie and it's next-level. No seasick warble. It's a studio-rack in a pedal. Also love the Boss DC-2W and the Shiva little-wave.

I like the JHS 3 series chorus for some of that modulation; it has a pretty heavy 80s chorus sound. Also, speaking of blacked out pedals, did we ever figure out that one black mystery pedal that was thought to be something from JHS?

Awe dude you definitely got to cop a Tri Avatar. It’s my favorite it chorus circuit it’s one of those circuits that’s hard to get a bad sound out of just got it’s got such a good frequency range

I would say after drive. He has his chorus pedals right before his delays and reverbs.
