Ive been fishing my handpoured, aluminum mold, jerkbaits the same way you fish these nlbn lil mullets, and i love it. Did great on snook the other day basically just keeping it a few inches under the surface and letting it jump out of the water every few twitches. I have a floating plastic blend that works really well with a 1/8oz weighted twistlock hook, keeps it almost suspended for winter fishing, and at the surface for faster summer fishing. Ask NLBN to try a floating blend for the lil mullets. The extra weight from the weighted hook definitely improves my casting on the windy northeast coast of florida, but it doest sink nearly as fast which is nice.

As much as I like watching your channel I have to disagree with you on one point. Heart breaking as it is I would much rather have a fish spit a hook than break me off. I know the I can come back and maybe catch that fish again vs. a broke off bait in the gullet that will kill the fish. Remember we fish for fun, the fish is fighting for it's life.
