Hi guys. Great reaction to Nightwish as usual. This was an entire concert. For their 2022, Human | Nature World tour, they moved the drums to the left and Tuomas to the center because Floor was getting too much interference from the drums on her mike when positioned directly behind her. I actually like it because it shows off Tuomas a bit more. But this was the only song in this concert where Empuu and Jukka Koskinen were also both up on the riser to give maximum room and attention on Floor and Henk. As for your confusion about whether you like the Tarja and Marko version or the Floor and Henk version better, don't worry. Both are different and both are fantastic. Yes, Marko is the soul of metal. Henk was the real Dutch Phantom. Floor and Tarja are both goddesses in their own right. Loved it.

Also amazing is that she was still recovering from breast cancer. She carried the notes longer that Tarja, especially at the end

they didn't ask Port to sing because Marko was not there it was because he's an idol of Floor they already had sang this song together on dutch tv and Port asked Floor to be part of one of their concerts and they obliged.

Henk agreed to perform this with Floor at Beste Zangers if they could also perform it with Nightwish in The Netherlands. They finally got to do it after the concert was postponed a couple times the past couple years due to pandemic restrictions. The band thought they'd never play this song again after the End of an Era show, until Floor made the promise.

Congrats on not getting blocked! It was a full Nightwish show. They kept this under wraps for the most part so that it would be a surprise. Floor cut her hair when she got her cancer diagnosis, though she didn’t announce it until later. Emppu and Jukka were only in the back for this song, they are normally on the level with Floor. But Tuomas has moved to center back.

This has been the setup for the entire tour, with Floor, Emppu and Jukka on the stage floor. Tuomas, Kai and Troy are up on the riser. The drums were moved to the side due to audio issues. They're higher than in previous tours, which apparently caused problems. For this song, Emppu and Kai went up on the riser to leave the floor open to the vocalists.

The new set up with Kai and Tuomas switched has been for this whole tour. The song in question with the hearing was Tribal.. It's more than likely permanent, because they seem to like it that way. There's also more interaction with each other.

You commented on Floor's shorter hair. Shortly after she had her hair cut, she posted a picture of herself with the shorter hair on Instagram. Since this was shortly after the release of Floor's solo work, there were many fans freaking out, wondering if the new look was an indication that she was going to focus on her solo work and leave Nightwish. (Also, fans were wondering if she would still be able to "windmill" with the shorter hair). Floor assured the fans that the new look was not in any way an indication that she was leaving Nightwish. Rather, it was just a better reflection of the 42 year old mother she was at the time. Also she assured the fans that she would still "windmill". (I have seen recent concert videos, and confirm that she does still "windmill", but of course, there is now less hair spinning around when she does.)

They were all up there during this song. Otherwise Emppu Floor and Jukka are down on the stage. They decided to have Kai and his drums at the side and have Tuomas in the middle because the sound will get better. The drums otherwise gets to noisy into Floors Microphone. Or so I have heard.

Floor's breath control is beyond supernatural......she held that final note for 12 seconds....as far as a Tarja vs Floor vs Anette; please, don't get into a comparison mode, who's better, who's worse.....the only thing different about the three are: they're different....three talented and beautiful ladies, and I love all three

I agree with Justin, in essence... a while ago, there was a rumor of Nightwish bringing back Phantom with Floor, bug then Covid happened and Marco left. So we were deprived of what would have been something VERY cool. So it goes... 🤘😎👍

I was there, it was epic❣️ I was bouncing up and down when I realized they were doing this! So great hearing them do the Phantom again with the official Dutch Phantom! It was a surprise I sort of counted on because it was promised in Beste Zangers 2019.

Staging on this tour is different. But for Phantom (which was special in Amsterdam, Floor's home country) Emmpu & the new bassist were up on the riser for this song because it was a feature with Floor & Henk. Also, re: Floor's shorter hair. She posted a couple months back about needing to cut her hair due to a health issue.

This was especially Floor and Henk, Marco's absence had nothing to do with it. And if you look at the Deichbrand show or the Hellfest show you will see they have the same setup.

When I saw them in November, I stood there telling my wife how they would be arranged, then the curtain came down and there was Tuomas in the middle and Kai on the left! It really threw me! I might have said this already, but these are two different phantoms (like Schreck's Orlok vs Lee's Dracula). I can see it might depend on my mood; at the moment Marko/Tarja is in front.

Floor & Hank from Beste Zangers is the best of the three, a close second would be Floor's version from Beste Zangers with Marko from the Tarja version.

Dont know why moving kai over a little would make that big a difference. Floor moves around, and alot of the time shes in front of Kai anyway. But They seem to really enjoy the New setup so whatever makes the show better and makes them Happy.

The best version isn’t made unfortunately. It would be with Floor and Marko. 😊 Hopefully once if Marko does a guest performance. I also would love to see Nightwish do the version Floor once covered with After Forever of “The Evil that man do” from Iron Maiden. With her voice right now compared to back then that would be fantastic too.

I've seen on youtube Marko and Tarja performing this song. The quality was bad, but also from what I've seen there I'm not so sure Marko can still sing it as well as he did with Nigtwish. I dont know why this song is never performed in the time Marko was still in the band. It could have been the best version ever. Marko had problems with his vocal cords. Maybe that's the reason.

I only discovered Nightwish in 2017 so I was never involved in the 'best NW singer' arguments. To be honest, the whole discussion is moot, as Floor replaced Anette and had sought Tarja's approval before accepting the role. Without Floor, I don't honestly believe that the band would be anywhere near as big as they are today, but all three singers have their place in time and there is no point in pitting one against the other. However, we will all have our favourite versions, and while Floor beats Tarja's original hands-down, it was Marko's rendition of The Phantom which was most memorable. I actually thought that Henk looked scruffy and sang rather lazily, which was a shame.

Maby a strange thing to say,but, if Marco was still in Nightwish ,they probebly wouldn't have done this song live with Floor.So,this is nice and we have a choice to watch both of them.(Tarja or Floor) I only can imagen how it would be ,if floor did this with Marco. "Domage",we never will know.

If they actually had any appreciation of singing ability they would accept that Floor is the better singer. Surely all the vocal coaches' and musician's reactions must count for something.
