Wanted to confirm the comparison of sabers in the dark was extremely useful. Its not about displaying figures in the dark....its more so about presenting the differences of lighting function in the most obvious way for the camera. In person its much more obvious to see the difference. For us through our screens and with the video interpeted by a camera lens rather than the human eye...its much harder.

This is a tough call... with or without sculpt to display. Both look incredible. Only quibble, the belt color and materials. I'm still picking him up however. Just need a Gar Saxon, Duchess Satine and Savage Opress.... then CW collectors will then be eating good. Thanks for review.

Also maybe instead of purchasing a second one of these, consider purchasing the general release Mandalorian super commando and have Dwoon Customs mod that? I love it .The only issue that I’ve with this figure besides the pleather is that it doesn’t come with a flight pole. It makes no sense for a figure that has a jet pack or that’s supposed to fly not to come with one .Either way I’m very excited for mine to arrive.

Super nerdy but I do hate how these helmets and even the newer Boba helmet have daggy straight sides instead of angled like the old Boba 'bucket' which works and is balanced with that visor. Mando's helmet works with straight sides because his visor is different. Sure most don't notice this stuff but as a designer and movie concept guy it erks me! The original was brilliant! i think the reason they even made this release is they wanted to get a second figure out of the headsculpt mold. I think they were gonna use the mold for the obi wan show figure as well but everyone hated it so they're making a completely new one hence the delay and they were like well lets at least make some more money from it. The mold looks great for this figure but didnt work for the more older Ewan in the show. Thats my theory anyway.

It's helmet off for me Justin, i have mine displayed with The Clone Wars Maul as one of his Mauldalorians with swapped out red blade instead of the blue, he looks super epic! A perfect Exclusive release from Hot Toys, its not a MUST own figure so an easy pass for most. Great review Justin.

Are you sure the helmet is a reuse? The brow is significantly thicker than ESB Boba, Deathwatch, and Axe Woves. Don't have mine yet to compare.

i wonder why they still use this gigantic box and cables for lightsabers , i got aliexpress led lightsabers for my lego and the cables are thin enough to be hidden on some of the smallest movable figures , are sturdy and relatively long with an usb port .
