Yep. There are 3 versions of this (clean, BAF and bloody). I was so confused when I saw both figures together as there was no 'bloody variant' label. Thankfully, I secured a bloody version - I think it goes well with the cute look of King Shark.

Those severed limbs from the king shark would work great for my predator G.I. Joe crossover display as I want to use them where berserker killed some unknown soldier and one of the joes find severed limbs and questioning who could’ve done this.

Pre-orders on Walmart have been stripped to the bone here in the 'states. I haven't seen a restock since the moment the pre-orders first started. It's absolutely exhausting trying to look for him without scalpers. If I wanted to pay triple numbers for King Shark I'd go with the original. At least that BAF had a hammerhead variant.

The reason why King Shark lacks any real articulation (besides to reduce costs) is that Todd McFarlane always prioritizes the design of the figure rather than its articulation, I mean a lot of his DC figures don’t have any thigh cuts because he doesn’t like the way they break up the sculpts, which is probably why King Shark’s shorts are one plastic piece. Usually it doesn’t really affect the figure too much, like the articulation still ends up being pretty decent, but sadly there are times like Shark where the figure just ends up being a glorified statue.

McFarlane are a company that I love but also think could do better, their sculpts and articulation are often great but paint is often basic and lacking and face sculpts often look nothing like the real life characters. Take unmasked Bloodsport for example, fleeting resemblance to Idris Elba at best.
