This project broke me because the teacher was so vague with the instructions and I came close to a mental breakdown. I hope you understand Justin. Pray for me that I’ll recover.

Best review of this figure. Thank you! I picked up a parted out Superman body, hands and boots (which I painted black), put it together with a black turtleneck and grey pants from eBay and now I have a Bruce Wayne from TNBA. Dark Hero is great and my Shadow Hero is in transit to me. I am all in on this line.

The cowl head sculpt looks more like it’s modeled from Batman: The Animated Series instead of The New Batman Adventures. People think the Batsuit was the only thing that changed designs for TNBA but the cowl changed too.

If you end up getting a spare figure to make into the Bruce Wayne you could always sew one of the fabric cowls into the back of one of the capes so that you have one for the unmasked Batman without having that mess of fabric around the neck.

This looks almost perfect. I'm not sure about the head but it doesn't ruin it. I wonder if the cowl and cape material is supposed to leather or fabric in the show? I always though its some kind of leather.

The interchangeable face plates and masks are a great idea. Beautiful rendition of this figure, minus the arm/ankle articulation. And yeah, it's nice to have options, (which are always cost more,) like a 2.0 version,. but I think these articulations issues should have been solved in the first place, and not placed behind a pay wall. It might look great, but I think more articulation would look better while posing. Btw, ❤ your concern/care about installing accessories, and the damage they may cause and how to prevent it. (That's another reason why I always look forward to your reviews.) 👍😁👍

Yeah I get it, sometimes though you don’t know something won’t work until you actually try it. I’d prefer they offer an upgrade vs leaving us without at least the option. I don’t see it as a pay wall as they probably would never have done those 2.0 bits at the start anyway

22:58 I agree, the true TAS look is better bar one thing…..the cape. I would be tempted to take the cape from the other figure and put it on the TAS bats. 🤷 And the utility belt. The TAS belt looks to bright yellow compared to what it is in the show. More a darker golden yellow like the other figure. Dunno if you swap belts 🤷

the proportions could have been better, quick glance the arms are a bit long and the emblem sits too low on his chest. to help balance it out, head should be a bit bigger and could use a bit more bulk on his traps.

Man this figure would be perfect if not for the overly soft and rounded head sculpt. Sometimes a 2D stylized character just doesn’t translate when moving to a 3D…like you said though…hopefully a 2.0 head sculpt can win me over. I think you could possibly fix it just with a sharper chinned mouth plate
