When I first heard this masterpiece , I was crying and having a conversation with Mr Beethoven, saying "How could you have ever doubted yourself Mr Beethoven". It was around 12 pm cold night, I was in bed, sitting up. Next something brushed the side of my head ever so gently. I will never know what it was, but it really happened. Such a beautiful experience. . Thank you Maestro ♥

Moonlight Sonata was the first work that I learned by heart without my piano teacher's knowledge. One day she comes into the study room and hears me playing it. She was so upset, "why are you playing MLS, you are not up to it yet. You are definitely not a born musician..."

you feel greatness and happiness? it makes me wonder... this musical piece is supposed to be sorrow and sadness... about Beethoven wanting to marry his student but is seen by her father as "not a high class", and probably like "you can come perform for us, because it makes me have 'face' (vanity) to show my status, but I more like treat you as a servant to come play, but you are not really part of us and worth our attention"

"A man may play a piece of great music quite accurately. He may make no mistakes at all, and yet it may be true to say of him that he did not really play Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata.’ He played the notes correctly, but it was not the sonata. What was he doing? He was mechanically striking the right notes, but missing the soul and the real interpretation. He was not doing what Beethoven intended and meant." -Martyn Lloyd Jones 💯💫

@Kev982138 жыл бұрын
Instrumental music (Most of classic and some of new music of certain genres) help to concentrate as they don't feature vocals which may distract you (Either making you think of them or sing them). That's the magic behind classic and why I love it. This may be somewhat out of the context but I had to say it, this music video itself is kind of fast, as a /pianist/ (As I only have around 2 years studying) myself I prefer playing this in a slower tempo and speeding it up gradually at the minor thirds passage along with the dynamics, going from the pianissimo up to a forte at the highest note and again, gradually reducing the intensity but keeping a much more stable tempo.
@narwhalgaming18608 жыл бұрын
How did you learn this? I have a little musical experience but not much in piano.
@Kev982138 жыл бұрын
NarwhalGaming I used to go to music classes, and I learn fast if I like something, so yeah. They taught me reading, some chords, different scales (Major, minor and harmonic minor), the C, G and A modes (Sincerely, I don't know their names. Ionian, Myxolidian and Eolian or something like that?). Knowing how to play a piece comes basically from hearing said piece over and over again played by other pianists (Lisitsa and Kissin, my favorites, opinions may differ.) and trying to imitate the tempo itself, the feeling will come on your own and you will know if you should do variations in dynamics even if its not written in the sheet.

this helps really well if you wanna study or just calm down its relaxing i might still be akid but classical music is a part of my life but if this isn't your style of music you don't have to push the dislike button just skip to music you do like if you like it then push the like button but just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to rarye it some people like classical music and some just don't thats the way it works my opinion on this is that classical music helps to stimulate your brain and makes you calm and helps you stay calm in stressfull times like if you have to much work or you just can't relax that's whatts classical music is for but its for enyoning it too so people if you don't like this kinda music then don't listen to it. BTW this is just my opinion everybody has his or her own opinion don't get me wrong.

feel like watch a man who feel so broken heart , waw, so amazing, and make me sleepy to, love this masterpiece
As much as just listening to this is relaxing. Playing it on piano is. Magical. I love playing it so much. I put my heart and soul into it. It is a sad song to me. It's a song of sorrow and sadness. A song of loss. And then forgivness.
