The instrument you were referring to in the song, is a trumpet with a mute on it. The mute on the trumpet gives it a softer and smother sound.

@@black40sunrise MOST EXCELLENT request, Madame and one of my favorite songs/albums in life! Also….It’s a trip…I’ve had a number of musical “coincidences“ with other subscribers on this channel. A day before this video posted I requested this entire “Positivity” album on Streamlabs😅, so that’ll be coming down the line.🥰😎🎼🎶🎤💯

Amazing song by an amazing group! They have so much good music out there and even though they don't get the praise they deserve but Incognito fans know they are the truth! Maysa Leake on vocals! This is the 2nd song you reacted to of theirs...you liked that one as well.

Just Jammin’!!! Like that Intro did you??!! How did I miss this reaction!!! So happy to see Incognito is in the house! Thanks Black40Sunrise!! I’m sure someone said the horn was a trumpet with a Mute(looks like a plunger-probably was something similar when the idea was thought up!) on the end which gives it that jazzy sound. Sidebar: Maysa used to do Facebook Lives from her kitchen, singing right there on the spot this classic and many others all while some amazing dish is cooking. Other Artists/Singer’s would stop by and sing, dance having fun and someone would check on the pots on the stove/range. Those were amazing. Edit: Checked online about Mutes…wait for it…one was found in the tomb of King Tutankamun(King Tut) B.C.…then associated with someone in 1511 and again in the 1600’s…wow… 🎤drop

I love Incognito especially with Maysa's voice. 'Where love shines' is my favourite song from them. 'Pieces of a dream', 'Above the night', 'All I ever wanted' ft Maysa, 'A shade of blue' ft Maysa, 'I see the sun' and 'Still a friend of mine.' are all great songs from them.

Smooth jazz group from UK. They have had an ever changing line up of musicians but have produced some great music. Maya who sang lead on this cut has had a nice solo career. You have got to listen to the song "hypnotic love " you will not be sorry.
