Hi Jordan! I, myself, own a dog. Its great that you are sleeping with him these first few days. Some puppies have separation anxiety from their moms but looks like Atlas is already feeling at home which is great! If you want him to stop biting a lot, i suggest holding a fist in front of him and if he bites, take your fist away and tell him no. If he stops, then reward him with a treat. But of course you cant completely stop his biting as he is a puppy and thats normal. Overall, you are doing a GREAT job taking care of him!

Jordan a tip for helping with the puppies food protection is if you start to stick your hand in his kibble bowl while he is eating. This worked great for my dog and he is not protective about food at all. It seems to teach them that although your hand is there you won’t take any of his food.
