so what i gained from watching this is like yeah you want to be authentic and feel free and comfortable but its a learning experience and like you dont actually gotta worry too much about it and once u relax when ur in it then thats when u find balance

“You’re the five people closest to you”. “Go out of your comfort zone”. Those are good but when you don’t know what to do, you have no clue where or how to meet those people or do those things.

Body language is a big part of communication. It's all about being able to blend into a situation. You walk into the hood with a timid body language, you're gonna get jacked. You walk into the hood overly aggressive, you gonna get shot. It's basically applies to every environment. Self-awareness is key.

I just love Bart, the way he thinks is beyond anything I can think of and it makes so much sense 🤣🤣🤣. I'm extremely socially awkward. I wasn't in my 20's and 30's but now I am.
@sayjaibao011882 жыл бұрын
It's easier for girls to get away with social awkwardness. Guys get shunned if they're socially awkward.

Good to see Cris again. He's an awesome guest. Fits in well with the guys. Edit: I remember the first video I saw with Cris on JK was the one where Geo was telling the story about getting pulled over by the cops when out with the girls. Then Cris told the story about jumping the turnstiles on the train because he forgot his wallet at home while working on All Def and being recognized at one of the stops and it saving him.

Having Social anxiety has made me waaay too socially aware of other people and myself. I study social situations in details. Like every little move I make is important somehow. I know it's not but that's just how it works in my mind. It's a struggle. So, that's my question....what do you do when your overly self aware?
@itsover90089 ай бұрын
Start by interacting way more than you currently do, even if you over analyze and then catch yourself over analyzing. This is what's helping me. I have a long way to go, but I feel like I'm making progress. Also, watch Dr. K from HealthyGamerGG.

IDK if it's just taking a bit to get used to but all these previews before the JKN intro feel off. Like, when it used to happen it was RARE. You IMMEDIATELY knew you were in for a DAMN GOOD episode and that rush of excitement was unreal. It almost made getting to that moment in the video even funnier despite having JUST seen it. This happens so frequently now, it just feels like an unnecessary spoiler to a random part of the video we will eventually get to.

Also “be your self” … insinuates that you know your self …. And most of the times I’ve ever been told this… my issue was that since I didn’t know who I was … I didn’t know how to move/act/be ……. Thus floundering // grasping for any example

If you're an introvert here's a secret tip to live like you're an extrovert if only for a little while: go to a pop culture convention, cosplay as your favorite character that happens to have a mask. Enjoy tons of people coming up to you asking to take a photo of your legit costume. Don't ask me how I know this.

@@abracadabra5636 I went dressed as _the most popular_ comic book character at the time. The first time I've ever dressed up. The movie was released that very weekend of the comic book convention so the character was very fresh on everyone's minds. It also helped that the costume was a near perfect movie replica. I felt like a celebrity. I had so many random people *lining up* to get a photo with me in my costume. It might have been because of the movie, the legit costume or both. It was amazing.
@abracadabra56362 жыл бұрын
@@barrymccaulkiner7092 That is amazing. Which character was it? Have you got pictures? You have got to use it as your youtube profile photo. Let us all have a look.
