At the end of this i really thought they would end it in a feministic kinda way where she goes off to be independent without marrying him. Atleast it ended happy ❤️

female empowerment wasn't quite the same in the early 2000s. Paige was still very much her own person in the movie without having to diminish Edvard's strengths
