Endeavor never abused dabi he just Shopee training him because when dabi user his quirk it burns him so endeavor stopped training him so he wont get hurt because of his own quirk

You don't sugarcoat it! If he actually regretted the abuse he would have stopped when the abuse 'killed' his son, not when he achieved the goal he abused them for after 10 years of continuing it. He doesn't regret the abuse. He regrets that he has to pay the consequences of it. A TikTok with Touya explained it very well. I don't know who it's by, but it basically said how Touya wishes he had the hero the world gets and since Endeavor is changing it means he was always capable of it, he just didn't think Touya was worth changing for.

​@@YaoiFan22 Toya didn't "die" by his training or physical abuse, since he didn't experience it, Toya suffered because he was given a purpose to live and then suddenly it was taken away from him when they realized it was hurting him, and he simply couldn't accept that, which is understandable, but he started going even more and more frustrated and he was slowly going insane, he also showed to be slightly paranoid when he spoke to Natsuo in a panic at night. He kept getting angrier at the fact he was now another one of the siblings for the future "masterpiece" and that, understandably, hurt him. If only someone had noticed and paid mind to him, it might've been different but it didn't happen. Now, this doesn't take away from the physical abuse that Shoto and Rei suffered, but it's wrong to say that it was all the same thing, those were completely different situations and Endeavor was at fault in both. Toya now doesn't care how or what he has to do for it, he just wants Endeavor to look at him even if it means being on death's door or Endeavor being on death's door. I'd also like to mention that Endeavor does not want to erase his past and have it be forgiven and forgotten, he wants to atone for it, and then have a better, brighter future, and that's a COMPLETELY rational thing to do, again, doesn't erase the past but I don't understand why you'd complain about a person changing for the better?? Isn't that the whole point??? why do you expect a horrible person to continue being like that, that's irrational and honestly ridiculous. Once again, I don't like Endeavor and he's probably the character, amongst the semi-important ones, that I like the least.
