I really like how Gerome seems to have a pre-existing soft spot for Noire, and that she seems to be more assertive when he's around. It almost feels like he helps her be one person instead of two :P

In my game, it makes sense why Gerome has more of a soft spot of Noire and tries to watch over her, the reason being because she's the daughter of Virion for me. It makes me think of how Virion was Cherche's liege and that she devoted her life to serve and protect him. Not only that but in my game Gerome is Frederick's son. In the Future Past DLC in Gerome and Frederick's convo, he says he's honored to protect Lucina due to following his duty as both his parents before him loyally served their lieges (Chrom and Virion). So it's really nice to see it kind of reflect back onto Gerome and how he's trying to protect both Chrom and Virion's daughters. And ironically enough I paired Chrom with Olivia but Gerome treats Inigo like dirt which makes me laugh.

This is adorable. Might have to make this happen in a future playthrough. Sadly, I hardly ever use Gerome as a lead unit since he can't get Galeforce without Cherche marrying the Avatar :( Noire's father in my current game is Vaike, which I think makes for a decent Bride (4 Str, 2 Mag), and she'll be the pairup for Owain (Gregor), my Dread Fighter lead.

I don't know why, but. I saw this picture with the pairing of Frederick x Cherche, Gaius x Tharja, and finally Gerome x Noire. At first I didn't really know what to think about the Gerome x Noire pairing at the time. But then I saw this video and then... BAM! This pairing became one of my OTP in Fire Emblem: Awakening. I still don't know why though. There are probably better pairings, but this one... Seem to take the cake! Hmm. Cake.
