"Respect" is the word that came to mind with every one of Ilhoon's solo productions. HE'S SO HONEST. I respect that bravery and it makes me wish he were with his 6 brothers all the more. If you haven't watched it, you will probably like his cover on Benzino's "If I Die Tomorrow" and you will definitely like the Dance Practice for "Fancy Shoes." Looking forward to your next BTOB reaction! BTW, you may have noticed that the "Big Wave" lyric video had many errors. I ended up having to google the lyrics to find more accurate ones, which made the meanings even deeper and more touching.

Thank you for reacting to our Ilhoon. We miss him a lot. All i wish is for him to find peace and happiness. He did sound like he had so much regrets although he always smiles in front of the camera and be his loud self. He's a poet. He loves to read, so the words/sentences he made were always screamed genius (although the lyrics video were really bad). He composed lots of BTOB songs, i think that's why his solo songs sounded BTOB with heavy touch of his personal style. If you listened to Hyunsik solo, you'll find this kind of things as well. And later on, when you listen to their solo songs, you'll see how distinct they are in terms of their personal style, but they somehow manage to be united in BTOB. Once again. ilhoon's solo music is probably my favorite out of all the members, like i don't think he has ever missed ‼ i even have the physical copy of the big wave album; gosh i miss ilhoon so much 🥺❤❤❤❤❤

I love how you put it as “still BTOB to the core” because that’s really true for each members! They’re their own persons but somehow a pinch of BTOB is incorporated in each of the songs they sing. I call it the “BTOB gene”. It is very distinct and beautiful. I also wanted to say I hope you will also get into Pentagon! BTOB’s younger bros. They’re also really good! They have the Cube gene.😂 But before that, I am actually hoping you will get into BTOB’s Japanese songs! My personal favorites are: LUV, Dear Bride, Father and Brand New Days ☺️ I hope you’ll check it out!

Thank you for another wonderful album reaction. Love Ilhoon's songs..COME CLOSER sounds really nice with Hyunsik in it. FANCY SHOES is cool..and yeah, he sounds so cocky and sure of himself. While ALWAYS hits different..yes, it's a bit personal. I don't believe something happened to his mom or something..but I believe this was the time Ilhoon may have been having internal struggles or conflicts that he wanted to say..maybe he's silently seeking for help or someone to understand whatever he's going thru but instead he wanted to assure his mom that he's good..he's okay when in truth he's really not. Nice collab with Jinho of Pentagon..another Cube group. Jinho is one of the best vocalists too..much like Eunkwang. Pentagon really has good music and great live vocals too but also more into dancing compared to BTOB. Ilhoon's music is unique..I'm sure he wrote or composed all this and his raps are just like him talking about his experiences. He's so good. FUN FACT: Ilhoon was the one who thought of naming the fandom Melody. Ilhoon never auditioned as an idol nor trainee. He really went to Cube and asked to talk to the head/manager coz he wanted to apply as a producer. Yup, he's that confident coz he knows he's that good. I believe they hired him but part of his training is to be an artist first, be a trainee in this boy group so he would harness his skills as he writes raps and learn better in being a producer. And he really did turn up to be a good composer/producer for BTOB and other kpop groups as well. It really is unfortunate that Knets find it hard to forgive him and have closed minds on giving second chances. It really is a waste..he could do more, make more music..produce more..we all hope he's back to making music..maybe not for BTOB but for other artists or for himself..he is so talented and people should not stop him just coz he made a mistake. He admitted to it..he asked for forgiveness..he fixed himself..he's healed and moved on..lost a lot in the process, lost his career, his place in the group, lost a lot of fans, trust of those who love him..hope he won't lose his love for music and writing music..coz many still believe in him and are waiting for his return.💙

When i listened this album for the first time i was obssessed. He is such a great artist, i do hope to listen something new from him. From time to time i miss his voice and personality. When Eunkwang enlisted i listened to idol radio for a long time, even though i couldnt understand 😅

almost 3 years passed when the scandal happened and he was forced to resign from btob so as not to have a bad effect on his group. I still remember at the concert in early 2021, Changsub raised 7 fingers and there I'm sure they are still on good terms behind the scenes. he has been judged but why are there still those who blaspheme him and cover his face with emojis as if he is a psychopath it is a pity he is only destroying himself. I hope to be able to work again 🙏

i do believe that ilhoon had influence in BTOB sounds along with hyunsik. there's petagon's songs called beautiful produced by ilhoon, when you listen to the song you can clearly hear he made this song with BTOB in mind. it's so BTOB sounds and style. oh, Jinho is petagon's main vocalist. maybe you should check the group also. Petagon is BTOB's junior in cube.

I think Fancy Shoes symbolizes his life or lifestyle in a sense? He's all this but at the same time he feels depressed and that's probably because he missed her, something like that.
