Rotorflight in-flight PID adjustments with Ethos

Would you mind explaining what PID's are any why you want such to be adjustable?

PID is the gyro control loop, you may know it as "gain". Gain is a generic term, and most gyros just give you some number, but behind the scenes that number is adjusting the PID ratios and values. Read more about PID theory here: www.ni.com/en/shop/labview/pid-theory-explained.html

Chris can you adjust these whilst the Heli is flying ? Or land , adjust , test ?

If you're comfortable reaching for the buttons and trim switches, you absolutely can do it while flying. Probably better to have someone else do it. Personally, I land and adjust (usually with the LUA script). But this gives an in-flight option for those who want to do it.
