Just love your posts ladies it’s as if I’m in the cockpit with you, well I am with the help from you tube in there, I’m a retired builder and did a few jobs for pilots and loved talking to them about how they feel when they are passengers on a flight, the last chap I did a job for was an instructor for BA, freebird for you experts, and he told me that some pilots just become part of the plane so competent and nothing can throw them off, others are competent but just don’t have that little bit extra, I’m sure you both understand being pilots yourselves, enjoy your time in the air and take in the beauty that surrounds you with sunrises and sunsets, and before you experts on everything begin, I know that the sun doesn’t rise or set but I’m just using the language we all understand, great post, ps you spotted the landing like a boss 👩‍✈️😇

Nice landing -- it still sounded like there were potholes every 10 feet on that runway. And, of course, I wanted to celebrate as soon as the reverse thrusters came on, but there was still some work to do .. that was quite the commute to the terminal, all the way from the suburban runway.

why use rev thrust when you use the whole runway to exit?...here in sydney qantas often use runway length for short taxi and save using rev thrust

Because Schiphol has 30 X the traffic inbound than YSSY, You need to clear for the next approach.

@@goodo5691 Also in 2019 when Air travel was normal i listened to ATC in YSSY( I live on the Sunshine Coast) And when getting ATC approach clearance for landing in peak hrs they also issued high speed taxi exits also. And the no reverse thrust is the Irish man cutting costs co's no one is flying.

It also depends on the plane... some airliners only have a steering tiller on the captain's side. So the FO just can't steer the plane on the ground.

Hello , baro, is the athmospheric pression at the airport, this data is given by the tower or ATIS, it’s an important data , which the pilot must integrate in is landing, to be sure that the,plane is a the right altitude

It's found at the bottom of the chart. There you'll see different approach categories and also aircraft categories. As she says at 2:13, the 190ft DA (Decision Altitude) is for a CAT 1 ILS. This crew uses LIDO charts where the value is always rounded up to the next tens. On Jeppesen charts the value could be a few feet off, like e.g. 187ft, which would be rounded up to 190.
