And I know I always say this but you have the best sign-offs on KZbin. A lot of people seem to love this episode. I'm in the minority because I think it's just okay. I do really like the flashbacks though, with the Doctor and Missy. I like that it's right after The Husbands of River Song.

Bless you! This Episode REALLY made me appreciate Nardole. If only because of how many fucks he can't be bothered to give. "Are you secretly a baddass?" Legitimately good. "Or maybe I'll be very little." And every Whovian simultaneously whispered: "Dinklage..." "Imagine Super Mario finally realizes what's going on and offs himself so you can't keep killing him in the game..." As an aspiring Video Game Designer, that line hit too close to home. Actual chills. Missy's phenomenal. I feel like I've said that a few times before... "How can I save them when I'm lost in the dark...?" PETER, STOP. And another one done! I like this Arc quite a lot, actually! I hope you enjoyed the rest of the Season! -"Ren".

Glad you enjoyed this Shayla. This trio of episodes you watched was a new idea for screenwriting on Doctor Who I think, where each episode in the trio had different writers(ish), this was Steven Moffats' epiosde, and Steven co-wrote the next one with Peter Harness and the last one was written by Toby Whithouse who wrote The God Complex, A Town called Mercy and others.

Series 10 has two story arc. The mystery of who or what is in the vault, and Missy. It was such a good idea to reveal the vault quickly. It opens up the rest of the series to be something else. I can't wait till the finale such a powerful ending to Capaldi's last series.

Missy does remember Clara because the memory thing that occurred at the end of series 9 only happened between the doctor and Clara. doctor forgot whilst Clara remembered due to her reversing the polarity. Missy was never involved so therefore logic would dictate that she does remember Clara.

Really loved the virtual reality concept at the heart of this one and of course the return of the magnificent Michelle Gomez (and finally an explanation of Nardoles presence, the vault and the Doctors new lecturing vocation!). Some sublime, classic Doctor Who moments. Brilliant start to the Monk trilogy and wonderful reactions as always.

I remember feeling the events at Cern extremely powerful as it was the week of the Manchester bombing (which impacts on a scene in the next ep) It's a really trippy episode but I think it's one of Moffat's best since "Heaven Sent" at this point in S10. Love The Doctor's Super Mario explanation it elevated this episode for me. 12 being 12 😍

I quite like this episode. It's a fairly interesting concept. As for the Master turning good, I believe they originally intended to have that happen during the 3rd doctor's era, but sadly the actor who played the Master died, and they ended up taking the character in a completely different direction. I was so disappointed when I found out that it was Missy on the vault... I mean, it was the obvious option of maaaaaaaaaaany option that Moffat had, and he had to go with it, and that was disappointing. I don't think that that "revelation" surprised anyone. He could have done something awesome with this, but he chose to play it safe, and that made me sad. I was honestly expecting someone like Susan or Romana to be in there because they were "brainwashed by Missy or some other villain. I mean, you could even reintroduce Missy on this series with this without her being the one in the vault. It kind of ruined the rest of the season for me, it just got better for me in the finale (it is AWESOME).
