These are my favorite late spring flowers here in western New York! They are so beautiful, but only last a short time. Being able to make them out of coffee filters so I can enjoy them all of the time is such a blessing! And while I am completely fascinated with how the ants you find on them help open the petals into bloom, getting the ants off so they can be added to a bouquet is tedious and I don't always get all of them. So another wonderful benefit of the coffee filter peonies, is no ants!! Thank you for the beautiful tutorial!
