I absolutely love not only this video, but all the videos you put out. You are absolutely correct about the tangent line and all the visuals that you show in your video. I've been playing APA since 2010 and I've explained to brand new pool players about this. I think it's best that I'll get them to subscribe to your channel so they can learn so much more about pool since they are beginners. Once again, I appreciate everything you do for the sport and the videos you make!

I really love how you represented the range of directions based on the angle of the shot in (3:21-3:30). Best visualisation I have seen of this concept. One thing to note is that the tangeant line follows the perpendicular of the shot line at the center of the ghost ball (and not at the contact point). This is correctly shown on the "fan animation" (3:21-3:30) but not in the previous diagram. This might seem like a small details but it can mean the world when trying to avoid a scratch or running on a cluster. I'm sure this was done for simplification purposes but thought it might be worth noting because I know people sometimes get this wrong (including myself when I first learned about this).
