OMG in Bulgaria we are left with the impression that our roads are bad. But the surfaces on this video are waay worse than Sofia city where I live. These constant gaps across the lane and those patches everywhere are too much for me LOL
@aaronkamakaze29673 ай бұрын
Most roads in Sofia and Bulgaria were built in the 1960s and 1970s, most of Manhattans roads were built in the 1890s. Maybe in another 70 years you might struggle with more issues regarding road degradation. Also, bulgaria doesn't have as much snow as Manhattan and doesn't get nearly as hot and humid in the summer. You also don't have some of the busiest and most uses road infastrucutre on the planet. Some people truly are clueless hahahaaha

@@aaronkamakaze2967 Thank you Aaron... its a bit weird people saying that the infrastructure looks appaling. It has a reason, why it looks like that, this means business was and still is good. Heavy usage takes its toll and repairs are needed. Its ridicoulus to compare it to countries like Qatar or whatever, who never had nor will ever experience the amount of traffic like in the US or other developed Western countries.

I have suggested previously, you ought to set up three GoPros: One on the front windshield straight-ahead, two on the roof on suction cup mounts with one looking 45 degrees to the right and one looking 45 degrees to the left. I did this on a drive from the Finnish-Norway border up to Nordkapp, Norway. I am now working on producing the final video in the CyberLink PowerDirector video editor. I'm 66 and having a hard time learning the program but the views off to the left and right add a virtual feeling as if you are there yourself in the video. Just a suggestion for future videos. A tip: Use an Anker 26,800 mah power bank to power all three camera for about 4.5 to 6 hours.

@@jutah I am a neophyte on the CyberLink PowerDirector 365 software. I've set up an Excel file and have reviewed all three videos of each segment determining when to use the head on view, the left-hand view, and the right-hand view. Some 4.5 hours of video times three so it takes awhile to go through each view for each segment. I now have to learn how to cut each segment and insert those parts into the final cut, figuring out how to insert the transitions in between. One I figure it out it will come easy. Thanks for the reply! I have always enjoyed your epic journeys. You have picked out incredible transits!

As someone who lives pretty far from the nearest city (20 minutes by car), I'm actually curious if people exist, that have never seen an actual horizon, where the ground meets the sky. All these skyscrapers and tall buildings must be bad for the mental health. People, cars, ads, buildings, pollution, lights and sounds all around. I know I for one couldn't exist in such a place. I think I'd die within a couple of years from sheer overstimulation. Also... What in everything holy is that?! Are those streets from the 1910s?! 37:25
