I loved watching this video. The points of interest at both the 1:42 and 10:20 mark of the video take me back to my very, very, very enjoyable 1987 trip to Daytona Beach, FL.

Being an artist and having an A in college level drafting, I went to Daytona and drew at least 45 buildings. I recognized several in the video almost immediately.

The city is historically known for its hard-packed sand beach. The city is also the headquarters for NASCAR. Other events include the NASCAR Coke Zero 400 race in July, Bike Week in early March, Biketoberfest in late October, and the 24 Hours of Daytona endurance race in January. This event of Biketoberfest is named from an idea of the Oktoberfest from early 19th century??? Oktoberfest is the world's largest Volksfest (beer festival and traveling funfair) held annually in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. In my own view, Daytona is a clean and quiet city. However, the city becomes more crowded and noisy because of the events of NASCAR, biketoberfest, and more; a mecca for those who love motorcycle rallies.

At 4:00 you have peck plaza, with the rotating restaurant at the top called "king Arthur's round table." My pride and joy drafting wise.

Passed the best breakfast in Daytona at 1:00. The Cracked Egg Diner on the left. 5:55 on the right is an overpriced, overrated, dirty and outdated Motel named Perry’s. If that’s what you like then you’d love it. They call it a “resort” but ehhhh it’s not.

for people that haven’t been or know daytona, this video is noting but a ride down the toad and is fairly the same over and over. you could have given intersection names, pointed out hotel:motels, historic sites, ect. but a bering and useless video. what purpose is there? just a ride down the street as a resident sees it everyday. blah...
