Jutimala and The Tai folks is an ethnic rock band from Assam, India, which is closely related to the cultures of a very ancient royal and ethnic community that ruled over Assam for over 600 years. The Tai language and music have always been closely connected. But unfortunately, in the present day, the Tai language has become an endangered language.
Jutimala and the members of The Tai Folks have been putting huge efforts into trying to keep this beautiful and endangered language alive through music and songs.
