JUVENILE TARPON ON THE FLY!! AMAZING BACKCOUNTRY ACTION

Went back into the backcountry of the everlgades with my bud Charles and we slayed the tarpon! Had so many eats and had so many jump off (as they do). Such a great area to fish for tarpon and this is the time of year that it will only get better!

Nice video,esp.graphics and commentary. Be sure that you pay attention to where you put your hands when grabbing to release these fish.I have had barracuda follow these in very close(like hammerheads sometimes do on the ocean flats). Baby tarpon also love to explode on poppers & small plugs from just beneath mangroves, at least in back country. Twitch followed by a boom.Great fun on a 7 wt.rod in winter.
