Assalamu'alaikum. Alhumdulilah. I never want to imagine a world without learned scholars such as these three extremely knowledgeable and humble brothers. We, everyone that access Yaqeen's multimedia, papers, and curriculum, are extremely fortunate. I humbly ask Allah, Subhananu wa Ta'ala, to protect them from the fire, to bestow the best He has to offer on all of Yaqeen's team in this world and in the hereafter.

*The 5 Ayat Beloved by Abdullah Ibn Masud, as mentioned by Sh Tahir* 4: 40 Indeed, Allah never wrongs ˹anyone˺-even by an atom’s weight. And if it is a good deed, He will multiply it many times over and will give a great reward out of His grace. 4:31 If you avoid the major sins forbidden to you, We will absolve you of your ˹lesser˺ misdeeds and admit you into a place of honour. 4:48 Indeed, Allah does not forgive associating others with Him ˹in worship˺, but forgives anything else of whoever He wills. And whoever associates others with Allah has indeed committed a grave sin. 4:64 We only sent messengers to be obeyed by Allah’s Will. If only those ˹hypocrites˺ came to you ˹O Prophet˺-after wronging themselves-seeking Allah’s forgiveness and the Messenger prayed for their forgiveness, they would have certainly found Allah ever Accepting of Repentance, Most Merciful. 4:110 Whoever commits evil or wrongs themselves then seeks Allah’s forgiveness will certainly find Allah All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

What was the source mentioned by Sh. Tahir?
@belgiumsylvester80172 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t it seem that Allah swt is explicitly telling us that this hadith (al Quran) is the *only* hadith? By the sounds of these verses, it would seem that the collection of hadith that we have come to know outside of the Quran is the exact innovation Allah swt Himself is referring to. Just some food for thought and as always, Allah knows best.
@tassiadrame19212 жыл бұрын
The Quran is not a Hadith. Hadiths are sayings of the Prophet Muhammed (SAW), usually providing additional context to what is in the Quran. As Muslims, we follow what’s in BOTH (authentic) hadiths and the Quran. Allah knows best.
@belgiumsylvester80172 жыл бұрын
@@tassiadrame1921 Salam. Respectfully, “God has revealed the best hadith in the form of a Book, consistent with itself..” (Quran verse 39: 23) - Allah is referring to the Quran here as the best hadith. “Then in what hadith (Arabic word: hadithin) after this (the Quran) will they believe.” (77:50) Again, just food for thought and Allah knows best.
@tassiadrame19212 жыл бұрын
@@belgiumsylvester8017 Thank you for your response. Translations can get tricky because of the different interpretations. From M. A. S. Abdel Hakeem’s translation: “God has sent down the most beautiful of all teachings: a Scripture that is consistent…” (Quran 39:23) “In what revelation, after this, will they believe?” (Quran 77:50) When we take the Shahadah, we are testifying to the oneness of Allah and that Muhammed (SAW) is his messenger. We are to follow the Sunah (the Prophet’s daily practice, sayings) as well as authentic Hadiths (the collection of Sunah). We only have the Quran because it was reveled to the Prophet, who then shared it with the world. The Quran in conjunction with the Hadith are what Muslims are to follow. I hope this is clear and any misinterpretation written in this response is my own.
@tassiadrame19212 жыл бұрын
Saying the Tasleem is not mentioned in the Quran. The Rakahs of prayers are not mentioned in the Quran O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him))” [an-Nisa’ 4:59] “And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)” [al-Hashr 59:7]. We are to follow both the teachings of The Prophet (hadiths) as well as the Quran.
