How can my generation run when we know? 50 years later next May and this song still brings me to tears. Thank you David Crosby, your music, past and current, still inspires.

Give (Canadian) Neil Young credit , he wrote it!

Yep. I resigned from West Point 4 months before Ohio. Saw it coming. And yes, still have tears about that. It is up to us.

Back in 93 or so I was in a band and the bass player was sick; we had a 15 year-old kid fill in. That would be Jimbo Hart, the bass player in this video. What an honor for all of you, on stage with David Crosby! Keep on rockin'!

This show was one of the best nights of my life. Wooden Ships killed it too. Thank you, gentlemen.

We were there! I got chills when this song started....to be lucky enough to actually hear David Crosby in the flesh, and then the added bonus of it being at an Isbell concert.....at Red Rocks!!! By far one of my favorite moments from the Red Rocks concerts and congrats for an awesome capture!!!!!

And BTW folks, this was David Crosby's last full concert performance. And what a way to go out......remember folks, "How can we run when we know?" Always keeping the peace David.....rest easy.

What a fantastic show and this performance felt important and needs some greater coverage. Amanda was just fantastic front and center. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see that Jason Isbell even had the same erratic moves as Neil Young when he played Neil's solo which he nailed as well!. Would love to get to hear this one again with better sound.

Fantastic and really great to see David Crosby doing a Neil Young song perhaps CSNY isn't finished after all, hopefully they've buried the hatchet now....
@paolo-n20004 жыл бұрын
Not sure Neil buried the hatchet. Seems like Neil moved forward like he always has...

I think that CSN&Y is dead on the water with no hope of geting going again. The rift is probably just to big between Neil and David.

Ya, Crosby kind of stepped in it a few too many times. That said, although it's NY's song, it Crosby's "how many mores, etc." at the end of any CSNY recording I've heard

My goodness what a great fucking version of Neil’s tune. Amanda Shire’s solo really adds a lot to the song.

Uncle Jimbo wears a hat. -Jason’s daughter. Jason, “No truer truth has ever been told”. Thanks for this version. Did you hear the concert about Crosby lighting a joint in a Nashville restaurant? No one cared- it was David Crosby!!!!

Was this his last performance?
@cloosie420 Жыл бұрын
I read his last performance was with Isbell (and Shawn Colvin) at a Santa Barbara show in Feb 2022.

This is how it is supposed to sound. Its not the London Symphony.

I wonder if former governor James Rhodes is burning in hell now.

Glad I saw this before Neil cancels it. Old hippies are not very tolerant of anything they don’t like.
