This game would be an excellent way to help learn Japanese. The hearing and the memorization would be a great help in the listening department. It trains you to recognize and learn the words being said quickly and fluently, it really needs to be played more in Japanese learning courses.
@randompeepsRS5 жыл бұрын
To add on top of that, it looks a hell of a lot of fun and can be incredibly intense if you know how to play.

@Pantheon theArtisinofWar I think it doesn't help to learn modern Japanese at all because those poems are so old(more than 700years before) that it differs a lot in grammars and vocabularies from modern Japanese

Hey how to play it Can you tell me the rules I don't understand I want to see chihayafuru 😩
@kienyawr2 жыл бұрын
@@reenakharb2952 so there's two different card yomifuda (reading card) and torifuda (grabbing card) the reader has a full deck of yomifuda while the players have torifuda. The reader will randomly read a card from their yomifuda deck and the players have touch/grab/claim the correct corrisponding torifuda card first. So for starters, you have to memorize all 100 poems first before you play the game ^^

@kienyawr2 жыл бұрын
@@reenakharb2952 1. You can only play this game by pair (2 persons) not including the reader, but on competitions there would be more than 3 pairs on the room and one reader 2. There are 100 cards in total 3. There is no exact order bcs you need to shuffle it 4. Reader doesn't have any particular goal, they just have to read the poem for the grabbers. 5. Grabbers have to race to get the card that corresponds to the reader's card
