I have never been in an Aston showroom and most likely never will be. But that salesman just seemed to be so sound and wasn't full of BS. I'd imagine having an attitude and personality like that, would sell more cars than someone who was pushy and just full of themselves, or maybe that's just me 😂 Either way, lot of stunning cars. And yes if I was ever lucky enough to win the Lotto, I'd love that Vanquish S.

The brand appeal and brand respect towards Aston Martins is just incredible. It’s an amazing experience on the road or when you show up anywhere! So different from the odd Ferrari, Porsche or high end BMW experience. I love it.

This crash was called two years ago and the industry has kept it quiet for as long as they could whilst trying to move dead stock. If you go to any auction with cash there are unreal bargains to be had. It’s also why a few more supercar dealers have just started up as they are going to buy stock at rock bottom prices from people struggling to make payments and then left mid term with a car worth far less than the outstanding balance.

A guy in the Chicago burbs parted with his 18 DB11 V8 for $90k or so. He had it down to as low as $83k on CarGurus and to me personally. I clued him in to carsandbids where he ultimately sold it. If I could have gotten out of my 991.1 quicker or for a good price...or had more liquid cash...I totally would have bought it. Beautiful car! Aston Martin Glenview Illinois has an 18 DB11 for $115k. Current Vantages are under $100k.

Prices have dropped massively on new and used cars and sadly it's a sign of an industry in crisis. A lot of the kind of people who might have previously been excited to buy that DB11 for "just" £70k have taken huge hits themselves on other cars. I think the bubble has truly burst and it will be a tough year for many dealers.

i have just checked and in France similar db11 with same are for sale around 130.000 pounds (+155000€). So considering the median salary is higher in the uk compared to France, I would say supercars seems quite more obtainable in the Uk than in france. (correct me if I am wrong)

I love my Vantage and my DBX707 and daily them both, alot of people look down on them "they're not as good as ferrari's" etc or they're not super cars. They may not be but nobody ever gave me the wanker gesture at a junction and in general people love to see them and always come over to talk to me about them and I'm happy to show them around let the kids sit in take photos etc. I love cars and Astons will always have a place in my collection.

@@memorimusic420 I lived in Belgium and had a Maserati Granturismo. 6000 EUR registration tax, 12 years ago. Someone told me it was already 10000 a few years ago. 3000 yearly road tax. Registration and road tax do not depend on the driver. Only insurance does.

I love brands like Aston, Bentley, Porsche and even Jaguar. But which will have reasonable maintenance and repair costs to match the now more attainable used prices? A free of charge Veyron that yo ucan't see, by extreme example, is worse than a white elephant. Upkeep will ruin most of us.

Covid had all of us SEARCHING the World Wide Waste of Time for exotic cars. The market went crazy. Add chip shortages, etc, and the Ferrari Calif that was $75k went to $105 and higher. So it is adjusting again. I shoulda woulda coulda bought when dealers were dumping inventory at the start of shutdowns. I DID buy a ton of business clothes as they were dumped on the market. AND... I realize its not as simple as I said, but it IS a factor.
