I just came back to this song after all that thinking, and after the premiere of “Think About Me,”... and like, I had the thought before too, this song is at least partially inspired from his relationship to Mads. So kinda if you think about it... he was probably, not saying he was, but he could’ve been detaching from the relationship for a while. Someone on his livestream he JUST had asked him to sing this song. He sang 2 lines - and then said he wasn’t ever gonna sing this song live again. Most likely. And in the livestream, he was with Cooper and Nessa. And they just looked so happy... I mean. It hurts. And Jaden and Josh were so close, Mads tried.... but yea. Maybe he’s in a better place now with Nessa, which makes sense why he doesn’t want to sing this song live anymore... it could be reminding him of Mads and bring him back to the place of feeling like he was “better off dead.” And this line - “Use your body, to sedate me, *you make me miserable*” Circling DIRECTLY back to your comments - makes sense. To clarify their happiness, to me, doesnt hurt at all. All the drama that went on before between the four of them hurt. Their happiness is sweet 💚 (especially because it looks real). Its sad that people got hurt in the process, of course. But seenig the two of them... 💚❤️🤘🏽. And think about this - theyre also trying to go the same place in life. Building serious music careers. And their personalities seem to mesh. So it’s like a natural progression... they’re 18 and 20.
