This kids were raised to play the sport. If all you did from the time you walked was bball you should be good. Look at the willuams sisters. Could any of the balls play another sport? I saw MJ in nashville in a minor league game . Playing rightfield a right handed batter hit a slicing liner about 30 ft to his right . He overran the ball spun the wrong way picked up the flight of ball turned around in a 360 stuck up his glove and caught in falling backwards. The hans went crazy. Only his good hand eye coordination and being 6 6 did he catch the ball. Now i saw Sammy Sosa play rightfield 60 70 times. After 8 years he was to lazy to learn or just didnt give a shit. They moved him to center for a game cause of injury. He was hit a ball straight at him in dead center. Easy flyball. All the sudden he starts shakung his feet. The ball landed 30 feet behind him and 20 to 25 feet to his right. Also if you think Barry Bonds is the greatest player. He played left field. He also blamed his veteran teammates for 2 playoff losses. See drabeck, van slyke. Anyway back to being great. From 80 till now. Bo. Brian Jordan cf an saftey. Kenny lfton cf an bball gaurd. Sanders only because he had great quick steps. Glavine hocjey and pitching. Mauer could have played Qb. Pre 80 tons. I would take a 6 3 225lb receiver who ran 4.5 40 back in 77. Was 2 time all american but hurt his knee. Nfl teams wanted him to play TE a la Ossie Newsome. He went on to play for the Detroit Tigers. Kirk Gibson. Saw him take a fastball to the cheek thrown by Show. Never went down had the bat in his hand like a caveman. Everyone comes up to him to see if he is ok. He is spitting blood and pacing around angry. After game took 11 stiches on inside of cheek. Next year hit homer off of show in WS. Then another off Gossege in 7th to seal game. Can the ball boys do that. Nope

I am not a traditional sports fan of any kind, but there is something about your videos that makes it so much more interesting and enjoyable. I feel excited watching your videos, something ESPN and commentators have never been able to achieve for me. I'm not sure what it is about your content that makes it so captivating, but I am very happy you do what you do. @michaelreed9805 I was hoping my old High School (Wallkill Senior HS in upstate NY), we used to be REALLY feared for ALL our sports teams. Back in the 80s and 90s that's when they were really solid. I mean literally, Wrestling, Football, Basketball, baseball/Softball, even our Soccer and track and field teams were really tough to beat. But not anymore. I can't even go to a rivalry game hoping for a close, tough win in basketball or football. It's really just sad. We've got some really good athletic guys in basketball this season, and yet we'll probably finish with no more than 13 wins out of the 20 games we'll have this season. When I went in 2013-17, we weren't the best but we also definitely weren't the worst team and at least we tried but the coaches just weren't good. Execute well under pressure, by hitting the good looks and free throws, and you win a lot more games than you lose. We couldn't do that but hopefully we can win a few good league games.

Mater dei is quite literally that one school in all the sports movies where the school has all the best players in the world and use all the money in the world to get them. For anyone who doesn’t live in socal, they are the school that never loses because of they’re so damn well equipped so what the ball bothers did with a public school was beyond insane in not only beating them but absolutely destroying them. The ball brothers don’t get enough credit for their skills because of all the other BS that comes along the fame but I think lonzo and melo have proven their worth in the NBA

Highschool and college sports like that is something I really wish we had here in Europe. For me, my school and university always were just places I go to to learn something and get an education, but I don't have this connection to them like many Americans do. We did have a soccer team and a racing team in university, but it wasn't a big thing and most students didn't really care about it. The way Americans identify with their schools and go to these games really is something beautiful.

When you’ve been reading each others basketball body language for years you play more like 1 unit than individual players. Given their talent it is not surprising the success the Ball brothers had since they’ve been playing each other since they were born

Also to be fair, PG is a position you don't need any height for. Mugsy was 5'3" and put up totally respectable PG stats against a whole league of active NBA players for the 6 seasons '90-'95. Someone who's 5'8 has 5 inches on that. Why does PG not need height? They can succeed by: 1) not turning the ball over (low center of gravity = shorter dribbling height = harder to steal from) 2) stealing from opponents (low COG is probably useful here as well) 3) finding open guys to pass to 4) taking the occasional open jumper (where no one is close enough to block) or layup off of fast breaks. By only taking smart, open shots and otherwise making good passes, every possession can be good.

Still confused as to how this “Public school” received that kind of playing schedule..
@Rune-Thorne4 жыл бұрын
they were from California in a 4a division, so most of the teams in their division they played more than once, thus why they beat several teams that were ranked more than once, match that up with private schools padding their schedules with decent teams to lift their strength of schedule to get better rankings. It isn't like Chino isn't a power house on the public schools side of things, they just didn't recruit ballers like the private schools do. They also just got lucky to have a family of highly skilled basketball players that went to school there at the time, something they could build a team around, because nobody is gonna know your mind like your brother.
@EverytingAllAtOnce4 жыл бұрын

I remember when Holy Name, a private catholic school, had this monster Neal Fingleton (RIP)... they took what was a traditional Central Mass HS schedule and added in a few preps and high profile schools in the Northeast. So in short, things are probably more flexible as long as the rules allow it for their association.

satri yanto is that a soccer term? Like I know what a goal keeper is, but what does clear the balls mean?
@satriyanto67414 жыл бұрын
@@reese2105 it's an action when defender makes goal keeper do nothing. Everytime a ball comes threatening, the defenders clear them out. Clearing in football means to send the ball out of dangerous area. may be out of the field, out of penalty area (kicking the ball long), or send it to the spectator. the term is "clearance", specifically used for that action. In Basket Ball, there's statistic like block, steal, and rebound. For goal keeper in football, it mostly clearance, any action to prevent a goal. So, if the defender do all the clearances, then goal keeper won't have the chance to show off. It happened before with Sebastiano Rossi (AC Milan in Sacchi's Era). He was a great goal keeper played for Milan, but then Milan had a solid defender, regard as the greatest defensive units of all time (Mauro Tassotti, Franco Baresi, Alessandro Costacurta and Paolo Maldini) and made Rossi to always had an easy job. even when Rossi save the day, people would considered it was just an easy save because the 4 defender in front of him do the job magnificently. being first choice goal keeper for almost 12 years in Milan, He won 12 titles, including 5 national championship, and 1994 champion league. But, when people talk about great goal keeper, he is hardly remembered.

I’ve always thought this was cool but when you went into depth about their schedule it’s kinda sad that we may never see a PUBLIC school do this ever again.

there’s always a possibility however in the state of California, it’s almost certain it won’t happen considering how many private catholic schools dominate the basketball scene.
@ryansaunders654 жыл бұрын
Probably right... The private schools will just recruit from public as soon as they have a break out year...
@adensvedahl73814 жыл бұрын
Crazykidslaya dont worry man it will happen again, if you get a group of kids with good genes and determination. I go to a school with 60 kids k-12. I have no coach, but im still giving 110% to win a provincial track and field meet for javelin. Im training almost everyday to reach my goals, if you get 5 dudes and a basketball court im sure if they have the mental strength to be the best they will be.
