My take on this is that demonic refers to worldly pleasures. Since Jyeshta's are hungry for knowledge and acquire it endlessly, they can easily convert any wealth of knowledge they acquired into material wealth and worldly pleasures. You can find many different interpretations of what this nakshatra is about from many astrologers.

It is very interesting to observe how the ancient sages defined the qualities of Jyestha. I deeply relate at a Spiritual level to being a servant of all people and the greatest Truth, although I am often at odds with my Ego, which seeks high status and to be respected among my peers and loved ones. I have a great desire to be selfless, and to be a conduit for God's work. But I also love sooo much to go on recreational trips, to be married and enjoy the fruits of the body, and to travel. I believe I can enjoy these things, as long as I remain constant in my auspicious qualities - debating, arguing against ignorant people, and being "sharp" to help cut the veils of the veda for the world. @@rhianalove534. i've read a few times that it's a highly sexual Nakshatra. specifically when it's in the Moon, Venus or Mars . perhaps i'm wrong, but it seems to be somewhat common knowledge in the vedic system.

You’re right. Somewhat for Moon, but mostly for Venus & Mars. Especially Mars, the planet that indicates sex drive. Coming from a Mars in Jyeshtha person.
