​@@wakatpr6583 i remember when shaiiko was banned, afterwards the entire year of 2018 i witnessed people hating on him and basically thanking pengu for doing something about it, etc. R6 was a LOT more popular and active back then and the highlighted spots in pro league were taken by people like Pengu, Kanto, Canadian and many more. While they were basking in glory, Shaiiko was being shunned. And soon after even when he was unbanned, he wasn't really seen in the same light because the casual mainstream watchers didn't know much about him, people who'd recognise a lot of other pros instantly. And soon after siege's pro scene started to look less and less active with an even lesser active player base. The peak of siege is when shaiiko was thrown out of the spotlight, and that is what makes me sad. OGs and many other serious siege players know of shaiiko as the goat, but you'd be surprised by how many don't know how good he is still. So i'm glad Jinxzi made this video.

The thing is that most of the kills aint aiming at the enemy, but at the angles, the amount of gamesense to pre aim every single angle in a single swing is insane, the thing he does is preaim the angles and play on contact, clearing the corners at the same time but in order, hearing for footsteps every time, the limb, eye-hand, ear-hand coordination is biblical

But there is more than just fragging It's not like Shaiiko is winning every tournaments. The most decorated players are often more supportive players/In game leaders. Shaiiko is obviously up there but currently I don't know if he is hands down the most valuable player to have in your team. Canadian, prime Pengu, I would say Alemao currently can all fight for this

The day he came back with bds it became the most dominant team in Europe for years and the best team in the world for a period (until si lost to tsm), they were THE most feared team, and the team that dicted the Meta for almost 2 years, unfortunately they sticked to their own meta when the Brazilians started ruling the world and they declined slowly until they changed Rafale for Likefac. And last Shaiiko is the player with the most earnings ever by quite far.

@@geromejean I think you have a lot of wrong timelines. 1. Shaiiko did not retire Pengu. Pengu played 1 full year after prime G2 disbanded, and that was during covid. And It's funny but Pengu's last match was a win AGAINST shaiiko in EU finals (was a crazy game btw). So like it's hard to say Shaiiko retired him lol. Pengu had his reasons, but he was still one of the best in the game (imo he is the best to ever touch this game, what he brought to a team is unmatched but it's another topic). 2. It's true Pengu won when shaiiko was banned. But honestly that Begonius roster wasn't an SI contender. Like they still lost to Penta then, and that was during one of penta's worst season.. (BG were very impressive though that is for sure, but Penta were so incredibly dominant back then, not even Shaiiko could have destroyed their dynasty). 3. BDS is and has been a formidable team. But they were never by far ahead of everyone else in EU, and I don't think they ever dictated the meta. If anything they were a bit behind until Likefac (who is a pure genius shook them a bit). BDS did not decline with Likefac, they wouldn't have won a major without him, he was the missing piece. BDS peek was very recently, when Likefac got added. 4. Shaiiko is indeed the player with the most earnings and that is 100% deserved (though it is mostly because of the ridiculous Gamers8 prize pool and MVP award). But earning isn't what you use to determine who the GOAT is. I love Shaiiko and BDS, I am French so of course he is one of my fav player. He is definitely the best fragger/entry ever (prime Nesk could contend maybe but that is it). He is NOT the GOAT and that is a fact though, he hasn't won that much yet (maybe because his team wasn't good enough)

@@marcelonino8009 There is some truth to it But it's not the whole story. What you are saying is that the best team to ever play rainbow 6 (G2) only won because everyone else sucked ? They defeated Shaiiko, they defeated Empire, they defeated nesk (who was by far the best player in the game back then), they defeated Faze and NiP, they clapped Canadian, they defeated Beaulo... All these teams/players are still winning tournaments nowadays. Like Pengu's last pro game was an EUL final where they defeated BDS (and that was the G2 super team, which was actually pretty bad). Pengu was so impressive back then, he had mediocre aim yet he was the most flexible most clutch player to ever touch the game. Also Shaiiko will never win as many tournaments as pengu did.. Pengu and G2 reached a level of domination no other team ever came close to Pengu really had something special, it's a shame he retired so early.. Who knows if he would have kept performing. My guess is he would still be very good. So let's just appreciate how amazing shaiiko is, and how amazing pengu was.
