Synopsis
Among the students, teachers and employees of University of Dhaka who sacrificed their lives in the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971, Dr. Jyotirmoy Guhathakurta, Professor of English Department and Provost of Jagannath Hall, was one of them.
On the night of March 25, 1971, this talented and philanthropic professor was a victim of the brutal massacre carried out by the Pakistani Army in Dhaka city in the name of Operation Searchlight.
