Personally I liked boyfriend track over girlfriend track not because I am girl no because sach batau tho girlfriend mai sirf galliya thi and I liked this thing about boyfriend track that it was way more emotional and heart touching then girlfriend because it shows the toxic but vulnerable side of men agar yhi cheej girlfriend track kai sath ki hoti I would have liked that track way more then other tracks

If you feel disgusted listen you don't know the insecurity of mainly Indian boys , he's just addressing that and saying it's not right still can't manage to be stopped , nothing to be angry on this , you're seeing perspective as a girl's side .. and nowadays loyalty is very low but where it's there is a strong love

The disgust was for the way he was pushing her and talking to her at the end. Which is absolutely unacceptable irrespective of how angry/drunk you are, dealbreaker behaviour. Also, we proceeded to have a discussion around the mindset you speak of, how its programmed when they don't even realise it's happening, and how they need to be self aware and get help for it so it doesn't continue to poison their lives. Not sure how this was not seeing it from their perspective. As for the loyalty point - I don't think anyone needs to 'prove' their loyalty. Nobody is the king of the world. We have to trust people, by default. Yes, it increases our chances of getting hurt but if we don't trust (esp the person we like), we're in a constant state of poisonous thoughts. That's no way to live.

@@JyotiSardar i have gone through this type of behavior in my early teens but Maturity came as time went by. Now I am in a great relationship. This video is true to some extent but it takes time for a man to come out of it but every boy goes through it.

I have been watching your reactions for a long time and as women from India I had a similar reaction of a confusing disgust. I also went back to listen to Dino James' Girlfriend after the Boyfriend reprise veraion came out and to be honest it made me feel like the whole thing is putting women in a box as scheaming, conniving, cheating people in general. That's my only problem. I applaud Dino for putting out the insecure mind of a man in love, but those insecurities have a generational impact, stereotype whatever. The part of girl at the end of Boyfriend did try to undo the boxing done already, but can't say anything until the second part is released. I have seen ur reactions on MC Stan and Bantai as well, and I may understand why certain aspects of the song feels alarming. These mindset need to change and pop culture needs to address this.

@Sundotdog2023 nothing to compare between the artists and their respective artistry, except for the fact that their lyrics often gets deregetory towards women. I know western artists also do the same, but my question is why? Haven't we already said enough? It doesn't look or sound good when anybody tries to demean other people with the excuse of freedom of speech, love or anything else. And I mentioned their name because I almost felt the same discomfort jyoti di felt during this song as well as other songs of mc stan and bantai, and they have stopped reacting to these artists. I used to be a mc stan fan, I mean tadipaar was huge. And my respect for emiway has gone up since KOTS but the sentiment of dragging women, name dropping and flexing not just wealth but how many women you can score is something that has to change. These are not cool to me anymore as an adult now. It makes me wonder if such artists are only making songs for one part of society, and maybe women are not considered to be music listeners or rather hip-hop listeners or something. I don't see anything wrong in wanting my favorite artists to give me a spec of respect or the thousands of people listening to them. And I guess it wouldn't hurt either.

Well, just a small thing i want to add or want to enquire. As you are taking the entire reaction to another level, so i am very keen to learn about your perspective when a woman does the same. I have seen women doing the same as Dino is doing in the song. I am no way of supporting this kind of behaviour whether it is a man or woman, but when it comes to a woman who really acts toxic, and the man wants to leave her, she becomes more toxic, and wanted to hold him as he was her father's property and threaten not to leave. In this case, in our so called ultra educated and ultra sympathetic society, it comes that man must do something that leads the woman to do this. I don't know if i can express or not. But what's your view on this?
