His experimentation with music and the use of slang may alienate some people but that is precisely why I started listening to him. I may be biased, being from Pune and being conversant with the slang helps me to understand and appreciate the clever wordplay he does with Puneri Marathi slang (of course his lyrics are crass at times but being PC is not what I expect from the rapper who grew up in the "hood"). There are a plenty of artists who produce their work in a manner more "relatable" to the masses but this experimentation with the music and the use of slang is what distinguishes Stan from the rest. I don't think being too experimental for the masses is at all a bad thing. I actually hope he carves out a niche for himself and doesn't change his style trying to be relatable to masses just for the sake of it.
