When i was in 10th class in a tour of school we request our teachers that we want to see Abida g sir take us without any argument when we inter her house she sudden open her both hand and says "marhaba g aya nu" Hug all teachers and 500 students with smile and treet us like that we are belong to noble royal family in few minutes we done lunch with abida g and request for nara e mastana she start singing till namaz e asar she take parmotion for prayer and by very force allow us to go back she insisted that dinner with me Now I am writing that I have GB No buddy believe in this story but all those who meet her they will agreed she is very down to earth and loving woman

Bedam Warsi was an Urdu Sufi poet (1876-1936) from Uttar Pradesh, India. He was the disciple of Waris Ali Shah so received an honorific Warsi. It is a tradition to listen to these two sacred monsters, Abida and Atif, once in a while who are blessed with art of taking any score to a crescendo. May I suggest to you another channel 'The Dream Journey' that travels around Pakistan to explore relatively unknown and less celebrated artists that include qawwals, ghazal and folk singers from Pakistan.
