It's always been like that, now it's visible because of the amount of groups that go viral, look into how old some 2nd gen and even 1st gen idol were when they first debuted like BoA, Taemin, 2NE1's Minzy

@@mahdireza5695 uhm, IU literally debuted at 15, still a child, not a fully grown woman, Lee Hyori literally debuted with Fin.K.L, a 1st gen group, and probably the only thing that's a fact from what you said is that Hyolyn wasn't a child/teenager and part of the 2nd gen when she debuted. Women are people like Solji, who debuted at 24, Dara Park, Park Bom, etc. they all were 'women' when they debuted

@@PaulinaGnecco I never mentioned the debuting of women for 2nd gen... I said that they got more attention as women kpop idols unlike now, where there's a creepy overpraising of kpop idols who are minors. Mature concepts don't get the same respect now that they did back then.

You say the current generation is plagued with minors and seeing so many people overpraising them and stuff is creepy, agreed, they are children, leave the children alone, but you are making it sound like it's a problem of today only, when it's not, hence why I mentioned the age of debut so much for 2nd gens, because many of them were also minors when they became active, like it's not something that happens just now, it's always happened, and that's the only point I tried to bring up lmao

I really like this! It's important to remind people that adults don't just lose their talent and shrivel away after turning 35-40. Plenty of them are very talented as artists or performers and deserve just as much spotlight as young adults in their 20's do. I wish them nothing but success in their careers!

Sorry this post makes you look stupid. Literally NO ONE thinks singers at 35-40 years old shrivel up and lose their talent. Theres a difference between being an Idol and a singer (가수).There are many many more singers in that age range than there are active idols. The thing that makes Golden Girls different is theyre an Idol group at this older age, but famous and active singers at that age range? Theres tons of them.

It's not about "talent" but matching up appropriately written and orchestrated music to fit their style. I don't trust JYP and never did. I'm betting that he's made quite a lot of money off TWICE which should have gone to them. I said this early in TWICE's career, "Girls, get your own entertainment lawyers to fight for YOU". I'm betting that you don't own your own music either. Drop those old contracts and get on your own. You'd do very well in America and find a good promoter to set you up with concerts that would make you a fortune. You've been in the business long enough to know it. Even your separate singles are hits.

@robertpage2023 Okay, listen. JYP, the man, sucks and I'm not denying that. My point was that I like the *concept* of this group because, as of right now, kpop idols are debuting younger and younger, and a lot of kpop stans have developed the mentality that people are worthless as idols once they turn 35. I consider that mindset harmful, and I think a group made up of older adults getting popular can help to deconstruct it. It doesn't have to be this specific one, but this one is opening the door for their footsteps to be followed. So I want them to be successful.
