I love how they're staying in their style but at the same time exploring other genres/styles as well. Tbh I kinda hate that he thought he needed to explain himself or something. Everyone has times where they're just a little lost in thought or less energetic, its normal and it doesn't mean you're not okay, just a bit listless for a while. But everywhere I went I saw Hans depressed, Hans so sad, there's something going on with him, why isn't he happy anymore, hes not making jokes, etc... Drawing so much attention to it and making it seem like it was something big when he was just a tiny bit less energetic/comedic. Idk to me it just makes me kinda sad he saw all that and thought he did something wrong

They realised they were getting to mainstream in their music writing and started over from scratch with their unique style as a the key focus point. This is a big moment. Its not easy to walk away from months of work. That takes courage. And as a big fan of the SKZ flavour, I would have honestly been disappointed had we gotten a main stream album. There is no doubt in my mind that SKZ can write great mainstream songs, but so can others. The unique SKZ flavour I havent seen anywhere else, and it is what draws me to their music. So Chan, if you are out here lurking: I want to take this opportunity to thank you and the team for that decision. It must have been a tough one to make, so I respect it even more. And if you do want to go main stream someday, your life is your own and at the end of the day you don’t owe us anything.

Exactly. Its funny cause I've always thought stays needed to take it down a notch when they think he's depressed or something (like all the time almost 😅) but its interesting he actually addressed that here. I'm glad he did and I hope stays will really take note of this. And stop trying to connect things and add more meaning to things that isnt necessary. It makes me a little sad tho that he saw all that talk lately about him being "so sad" (when he was literally just a tad less energetic which isn't that big a deal) and thought he needed to explain himself🙁

When I first heard "Cookin' like a chef" my only intention was to find out if that ridiculously deep voice had actually come from that angelic elfin face. I did NOT expect to be sucked into such hardcore fanhood that I have actually spent money on concerts, albums, and merch, and hours of my time watching everything I can find with these 8 men in it. I love music, but NEVER have I ever been this in love with a group that makes music, and I believe that it's because they genuinely don't just do this because it's their job, but because it's their life and their first love.

i think i speak on behalf of all STAYs when i say we wont leave and that we will constantly love and support skz because we know they do so much for us and try so hard. they are perfect in every way even if they dont see it or believe it because they are so strong and resilient and talented. they did eat and left no crumbs and they will continue to do that because everything they do and make is amazing and STAYs will like it no matter what because we just want them to be happy an d healthy and live the best and fullest life because they deserve to. they have gone through so much.
