I love how he manages to make sense of the First "Stickman vs Eye of Cthulhu" and why he would fight it again after he got the Night's Edge, since he never actually beaten the Eye of Cthulhu in the first place. Also it explains how he got the Lights Bane for the Night's Edge without beating the Eye of Cthulhu, as he just ended up in the Corruption after the fight and was forced to just wander around, and that's where we get to "Stickman vs Eater of Worlds." It explains the major plot hole of fighting the Eye of Cthulhu despite having the Night's Edge. Edit: Holy crap I basically got it spot on

@@dannlink5476 I'm pretty sure that's the whole point of these re-made Stickman vs Terraria ones. Like the first King Slime and Eye of Cthulu were just meant to be funny without any real logic or order, since I doubt JZboy would ever thought that this series would get as much support as it did, but now that it has, he decides to put more depth into it, like how in Eater of Worlds, it was never explained why only breaking 1 shadow orb summoned the EoW, but in the Destroyer, it is explained that KoonBoat actually broke the other 2. Since King Slime and Eye of Cthulu didn't really fit in, he decided to make new fights of them so that the old ones now fit into the story. Even with Queen slime explaining the random 2nd Night's Edge in The Twins that most of us probably thought was just a mistake (which probably was and JZboy decided that now it was canon).

This is definitely the best one in terms of quality and emotional feel in this series thus far. It is a shame that this particular version of the Eye of Cthulhu wasn't created at an earlier date, as it could have had some awesome opportunities for some kind of character development with BlackGuy, since he got bodied by Eye of Cthulhu. Like maybe he could have had a more traumatizing flashback in the Twins episode, and he had to overcome those humiliating memories by taking them down personally. I also assume this encounter gave him a better reason to fight Eye of Cthulhu a 2nd time in the original version. In short, this slaps.

This is one of the most insane animations I have ever seen. Not only was the general animation itself incredibly high quality and smooth, but the sequencing and all the contents of it were so cool and satisfying to watch. The way you perfectly capture the Terraria experience yet do it in a way that still lets you have creative freedom in your adaptation of it just makes it even more crazy. Comparing it to the original animation, you've really come a long way. If I was told this was done by a full team of professionals, I wouldn't even question it. I'm so excited to see more in the future, keep it up man.

I flipping love the how the usual Terraria mechanics are messed with to make the fight all the more epic. The grabbing of the still-falling star & instantly crafting it into jester's arrows, sliding down the hill, even how Stickman just pulls out & lights all of their explosives while being shoved by the Eye. Oh my gosh...to say this is on another level is MASSIVELY UNDERSELLING THIS! You just made a 10 star Terraria animation! Not only did the opening embody what Terraria was all about, the exploration, the building, and generally just doings things your way, but I heard you were inspired by that Eye of Cthulhu fight animation over in the Hyun's Dojo channel. 1:16 just looked so much like the animation when the stickman collected the heart crystal initially and the action sequences just far surpass all of your other Terraria vids up until now...and this is just EYE OF CTHULHU!? Stickman was even defeated! You don't see that happen often in these Terraria vids! I'm so happy to see where you are right now man. Excellent work, guys! It came out really well. Didn’t expect the montage at the start showcasing the rebuilding of the home, but it really added a nice spice of life to the whole thing, on top of the very Terraria-esc humor. In general, the attention to detail across the full thing is clear as day, and I really gotta give you guys points for it. Not to mention the fight itself with it's fantastic correography and writing direction, making the Eye of Cthulhu appear really menacing despite how early of a boss it is, while forcing Jack to adapt to the situation and try different options of attack, notably with the bombs and the arrow progression, all while getting severe mileage out of pretty much his whole kit when he still has it. All in all, you guys did a fantastic job with all this, and I'm really looking forward to what else you guys have planned. Oh and... ending it off with Jack losing and in The Corruption honestly is an artful touch, makes things all the more interesting if you'd ask me. Plus, the fact Jack still has a stick of dynamite in his hotbar, knowing how he takes out the Eater of Worlds in that video, makes things all the better. Love the attention to detail there...

I love that you can just tell when someone plays the game and doesn’t make content because it’s trending. It’s the small things like the star killing the enemy your fighting, placing the chair backwards, or the mobs falling down your tunnel your digging, or the dash the eye does in expert mode and further. It’s small things that you only see and understand when you play the game for a long time. And the animation is amazing. Very fluid and I love the scene with the tiny eyes. Very accurate to how you want to focus on the boss but your being surrounded by the tiny eyes.

this was so freaking great! everything down to the fight, the crafting mid fight, the rough terrain, you actually encapsulated everything that a first beginner terraria player would deal with upon fighting this boss, while also not making it a simple 2d fight, by adding in depth fight choreography! it was all great! your still great and still growing as a animator after all these year's, i hope you continue to grow, and i hope that you continue to do what you love to do! i also hope you remember to take care of yourself and make sure you remain hydrated, the community has made a ton of jokes about 'golem fight when' but i know it can unironically eat at you, so try and make sure you stay comfy with your own pace and your way of animation! since you certainly stepped up your game, you don't got much to worry about, even if it's terraria or otherwise kind of animations! one of the best animations i've seen in a long time. the lighting, the scenery, the attention to detail from the minecarts not stopping until it's been like 20 seconds holding the opposite direction to the mining being two blocks wide, to even the seemingly more aggressive nature the stickman takes on near the end towards the servants. 10/10 animation, no complaints.

I've watched all your videos since the original dropped and I really want to let you know what your work means to me. Your early videos directly inspired me to animate throughout high school with mac flash 8, I even completed a full-length animated Terraria video about my playthrough with my buddy for a school project though the bits were a little more niche. It had bits about grappling hook shenanigans, the stacked vertical apartment complex, mining moments, and the eye of Cthulhu killing literally every npc in our "village" with one collateral attack. I lost my laptop about 4 years ago without backing up any of my videos or drawings and became heavily discouraged to start over. I'm disappointed in myself for falling off that path but seeing how much you've grown your animation skills over time gives a whole new feeling of inspiration. I hope you never give up on this because you are amazing.
