Very clear, easy-to-follow explanation. The details about disabling and re-enabling timeline snap was very helpful. Using auto sync in version 12, the audio track was not in sync, and I could not move the video track precisely enough to get them to match up. Timeline snap was the answer. Matching peeks instead of troughs was also a helpful detail. It would be helpful if Filmora allowed the use of the arrow keys to nudge the timeline in tiny increments. Not detaching the audio track from the video was also an important tip. Your final point about making sure to match the bitrates of the tracks was absolutely critical to solving the problem I was having. The camera, mic, and Filmora audio rates are 48000, but the audio editing program I was using (Audacity) was set to 41000. Changing that small detail made the sync match up exactly. None of the other tutorials about syncing audio mentioned this. I would never have thought of it myself. With extreme gratitude, be safe, and be well. May all your ups and downs have only soft landings. ☮🕊☯💙💛💙💛💙💛 🙏 4 Ukraine.

My problem is that my speaker audio isn't in sync with the timeframe audio, is there an easy fix for that?
@solozzo303 жыл бұрын
can you tell if the audio can be adjusted by half a frame,it tends to align itself by unit of one frame,not less than that.
@espacoipiranga Жыл бұрын
that is exactly my problem. it is snaping to frame

I just don't get it. If I drag a perfectly synced video into Filmora and simply "lighten" it, when I export it as an MP4, it's out of sync! In your tutorial, you show a "video" file at the top with an "audio" file beside it. My Filmora only shows the "video" file. Where do I find the "audio" file so I can drop down to the timeline?

t synching audio from the same video. should you not detach it from the video then try to synch it and if so can you make a video of how to do exactly that. thank you and cheers
@JamesWoo Жыл бұрын
This is to sync 2 audio source. If you detach the audio from the video, you won't be able to sync them automatically.
@glasslinger2 жыл бұрын
The problem is not a separate audio files. IT IS THE AUDIO FROM THE CAMERA IS WAY OFF FROM THE VIDEO ON THE TRACKS The audio sound itself matches the video but the waveforms on the track display are way off. Sometimes minutes removed! Other clips the two are perfectly matched. SOFTWARE BUGS! (latest filmora 9 version) Asobe Premier on order! I'm finished with this buggy crap!
@JamesWoo2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for letting me & the community here my channel know. FWIW, a number of videos on KZbin say that Premiere can hang too at the most inappropriate time. Anyway, hope you find the best software that suit your needs.
