It's pretty obvious that Namtan's character here had feelings for Tay too. But both are obviously not brave enough to confess. The boy is scared and the girl is waiting. The only difference is that years later the girl finally moved on and loves someone else while Tay is still inlove with her. This is like the song of my me and my first love . We are both cowards. Years later , we both admitted to have loved e/o before but both are scared to ruin the friendship so we end up not confessing. He is happy now while I'm still in the process of moving on.
