I’ve always preferred the jbeauty skin care philosophy of being less is more. However I appreciate the kbeauty more because firstly it’s easier to get internationally than jbeauty, secondly there is more products you can find that is cruelty free and green, ie free of toxins/parabens/harsh chemicals etc for skin. All and all I just follow my own steps and what ingredients I need that I want to target for my skin. Over the years of trial and error that really sensitized my skin in the long run, I really believe in less is more. Just like a healthy diet, your skin care is a life long of healthy commitments. Lol We get so stuck in the mindset of flawless skin that we get crazy and do all these things that make our skin worst. And for sensitive skin, don’t forget to always patch test a product before putting on face even if it says for sensitive skin. I think I just rambled on. Lol

Haha true with what all you said, I agree :) I'm currently in my mid 20's now and I also experienced that trial and error that made my skin too sensitive, and finally now settled with just a simple skincare routine and of course healthy diet really does count in making your skin beautifully glow inside out ( I hated vegetables so much when I was a kid and rarely eat fruits, I love meat so much so then during my high school all those repercussions of unhealthy diet showed on my skin 😨). And thus the long journey of fighting has begun😂, seeing this video is really nice since both jbeauty and kbeauty are a trend now. What I liked about kbeauty is that they have really many variety of beauty products all natural and skin friendly plus they are almost accessible anywhere tho good jbeauty products are hard to come by but I like the quality of it :) mostly I like jbeauty make up but kbeauty on skincare. Thumbs up for this video! 😊😊😊

When it comes to makeup I mix the two styles to create an innocent, natural look. ( Japanese style eyeshadow and blush, Korean style eyeliner and eybrows, a dewy base, and I change up my lip look depending on my mood.)

I've been living in Japan for over three years, and just recently got into K-beauty (props to the wishtrend team...your marketing got me haha). What Mayu said about the humidity is so true! I think I'll stick to Japanese moisturizers in the summer, but the Korean ones might be more effective during the tough winters in the north where I live. What I love most about J-beauty is that nearly everything is unscented. K-beauty has really effective and strong ingredients. Both industries definitely have their merits. My skin care is 50/50 kbeauty and jbeauty products. But my makeup is 80% kbeauty 20% western brands. Japanese makeup products are way too expensive for what they do, problem that I don't have with kbeauty. You can buy incredibly good products for a fair price.

It’s funny. I feel like in the past I had always known double cleansing as the “Japanese” double cleansing method, but as of recent as k-beauty is getting more popular, it is the “korean” double cleansing method.

Let me just say I LOVE Canmake products! They're really light both on my skin and wallet xD I find most korean lip tints very drying and makes my lips peeling off its skin every two nights if I wore it all day. The canmake lip tint jam however not only gives my lips healthy shine but also feels cooling on my lips ❤️ As for skincare I'm more familiar with the steps in Korean but I think quite a few Koreans add in Japanese products to their routine (I know hatomugi skin conditioner is popular there and also senka perfect whip cleanser) For sheet masks I definitely like Korean better bcs there are more variants to choose from. Once I tried Japanese one the lululun face mask and my skin reacted badly 😟 I like both but I also use a lot of local products (I'm from Indonesia) especially Pixy, a local brand which have their products developed in Japan :'D

Hey there! I wanted to say that I absolutely adore your channel and the advice you give me for my skin, it’s been incredibly helpful. I also wanted to say that I’m a Pakistani Asian girl who has a fairly medium skin tone. I love the dear klairs products, and the products you provide too, but it’s so irritating that my skin is too dark for the amazing mochi B.B. cushions or the B.B. blemish creams; I would love to buy these products but there’s only one shade. I know people may say who am I to complain, they aren’t marketing towards me, but when you are advertising and I can find korean beauty products in the U.K. I assume you are marketing worldwide. I love supporting this channel and dear klairs as it has really helped my skin, but I would like to be able to use the cushions or blemish creams for once. Thank you for all the advice you’ve given me to help my skin! 💜

If you want cushions, you should try Wet n' wild, they are cruelty free and because they are made in USA they have more shades. The Body Shop also has cushions in more shades, and their products are great for the skin (also cruelty free) I don't know who would say 'who are you to complain' there are plenty of Korean girls that also complain because there aren't enough shades.

1. Buy the BB mochi cushion. 2.Take out the existing cushion sponge and clean the case. 3. Purchase unused cushion sponges and then put your own shade of foundation in the cushion. Now you get both your shade of foundation and the cute case.

Japanese skincare works better at my face than the Korean ones. I remember spending money on Some By Mi, but experienced breakouts. I started using Hada Labo Shirojyun premium line and even by just 4 step skincare routine, I can tell that my face became more hydrated and glowing, without experiencing any acne episode

K-beauty: SKIN:Dewy skin with cushion EYES: glitter/matt eyeshadows CHEEKS: Matt blush flushed cheeks too and cream blush CONTOURING : V jawline and nose EYEBROWS: Straight eyebrow it's makes you younger and innocent LIPS: matt graduated lips or lip tint It's a generality everyone don't do that 💜💖It's really better to remove makeup with oil balm or cleansing oil because it's closer to the sebum of our skin it's more effective and they're suitable for all skin types. Personally i use more korean products in my skin care but i have japanese product for my skin like my cleansing marshmallow cleasing foam lol i love it and essence toner very popular in Japan and for the sunscream i prefer the Japanese one they are the best and the formula amazing like the aqua rich bioré and for the makeup i use the the two

Welp i just mix it up but for skincare idk since the virus came i started to just wash my face and use masks sometimes I have gotten some pimples but my skin has gotten beter now I'm just trying to figure out a new skin and using my old product one at a time because I think some of them made my skin worse because it improved so much without them so far Im thinking that a lot if my problems were from stress ;-;
