Well, this law exists since forever, i am a naturalized Canadian citizen living in US and my kid was born in US and my kid gets Canadian citizenship thru me since 6 years ago. Note my husband is not Canadian. Nothing new here

If you have your PR right now. After 3 years you can apply for passport for sure. But right now. It ll not take much time. The process strats being quick. You ll pass your nationality s exam very quick. Which is good. I think

No my sister , it doesn't worth it, because it is more expensive than Switzerland and wages are less than Switzerland. Plus health care problems system. I talk from experience I am in Canada now.

Khadija Ennasiri, It would be better for you to visit Canada first and see if you can adapt to the Canadian mindset (which includes a passive-aggressive culture) for the first few weeks. You should also consider the cold weather and high expenses here. I’ve heard that Switzerland is a great country and more developed than Canada for sure. My question is: do you have a stable job in Switzerland? If so, please do not leave. If not, feel free to come and give it a try.

Yes we have a stable job stable situation Actually it's my husband working for a multinational and it was he who had an offer to move to Canada and I, a nurse, I subsequently looked for a job in Canada and I quickly also found a proposal I am very hesitant scared of this change s Since I know Switzerland and canada not that’s why i’m seeking people living in Canada to advise and inform about how is life in there to be able to compare the tow countries especially we are very stable in Switzerland but it is my husband who is enthusiastic about this adventure Thank you very much for your reply 🙏I appreciate it 🙏

الله يجيبك على خير ، وهاد القانون قديم وليس بالجديد اشريف !!! الابناء لحامل الجنسية الكندية من مجرد احد الزوجين ، تمنح لهم الجنسية الكندية مباشرة و هذا كان منذ القدم ، الجدل كان على الاحفاد ، ما تغلطش الناس

Tu te trempes complètement, l'octroi de la citoyenneté aux enfants nés, à l''étranger, d' un père canadien existe depuis des années et appelée citoyenneté par filiation. Mes enfants nés à l'étranger et ont eu leur citoyenneté en 2015. Cependant, les enfants de ces enfants nés à l'étranger ne peuvent pas avoir la citoyenneté canadienne par filiation.

أ كا تخربق أ حنيني !!! راه في القانون القديم راه كا يعطي الحق لأبنائك ياخذو الجنسية الكندية و لو يتزادو خارج كندا و لكن أبنائك لي مزيودين خارج كندا هوما لي ما عندهمش الحق يدوزو الجنسية لأبنائهم !!! 🤦 القانون الجديد سيسمح لأبناء أبنائك بالحصول على الجنسية الكندية !!
