K/DA is the Riot/League of Legends Kpop girl group. It was originally to promote skins for the champions: Ahri(nine tail fox), Akali(rapper), Kai’sa(shoulder pieces), and Evelynn(nails and shades). It is now way more than that, they are a full fledged kpop group now. They even have their own EP and Lightstick! Their fandom are BLADES Ahri - Miyeon of G-idle Akali - Soyeon of G-idle Kai’sa - Jaira Burns Evelynn - Madison Beer Kai’sa and Evelynn have been voiced by other artists as well in other songs. This track recently went gold this year and the group has been beating records set my real kpop girl groups. They have done “photoshoots” with Louie Vuitton, Ducati, Elle Magazine and others. They have also done a couple interviews with real people. Akali’s motorcycle in this was actually custom made by Ducati. Check out their 2018 live performance for Popstars! If you want to hear more of Akali, check out their song The Baddest since she gets a lot of bars in that track. She even has an interview with Genius. It's a little weird, but check it out anyway lol

The Korean girls are from (G)I-dle and the bridge girl is Chinese soloist. This is not a Kpop group, the song is in 3 languages.

Not many songs throw that crazy of a drum beat out. There are like 8 different drums doing all sorts of beats in there. Mixing melody with harmonics on vocals. The people that produced this are top tier producers. The girls singing are awesome. The animation is just next level as well... they worked really hard to make it look like an actual music video shoot. What the bass does on the "All I'll ever know, is life upon the throne" line each time gives me chills. That deep rise and fall pattern... damn it's good. This doesn't have any right to be this damn good.

the girl who did the rap verse is soyeon from (g)idle !! and miyeon from (g)idle sings too. there’s actually a live performance of their debut “pop stars” where the virtual members appeared on stage through AR. the concept is really cool and the artists behind the characters are fantastic! loved the reaction!

Btw each one of these girls, has their own song, minus Seraphine because she’s the newest member and she doesn’t have a solo song yet Akali’s solo song is The Baddest, if you want a Korean Rap that spits bars that make you feel pumped, listen to that Ahri’s Solo is I’ll Show You What I’m Made Of, it’s basically more pop than all the other member’s songs, but it’s still a bop Evelynn’s solo is called Villian, THIS SHIT IS A BANGER! You will feel like your powerful while listening to it Kaisa’s solo is Drum go Dum, it’s more like a catchy pop/rap and I admit I listen to this occasionally but it’s still a good song if you want a good energy boost There is a song called Popstars where it’s just the 4 of them without Seraphine, that video is the most known when it comes to KDA

Seraphine isn't a member of K/DA, this was a one-shot feature. In-game, she's a music-oriented (solo) champion, in the K/DA-verse, she's an "ascended fan" {(G)I-DLE poster in her bedroom, k/da branded headphones, knowing the choreo} who got to live her dream of performing with her personal idols.

You definitely need to listen to "VILLAIN". It's Evelynn's song (the girl with the gold eyes, nails, and twin tails), and it's insane. Not only for the eerie vibe, but also because whomever did the rendering on it decided to just pop off. Some of the best smoke rendering and realistic environments I've seen. And it's to sell cosmetic skins in a game. None of which boost any stats. Just for looking good and flexing on anyone you play with/against. I also recommend "POP/STARS" as it was their first song they did, and first skins for the group (still love that the name is a common gaming term for Kills Deaths Assists). Also, if you want to venture into other groups League of Legends have made to sell skins as well as working towards a music label, try "Giants" by True Damage (a term for when damage hits the base HP of a player and ignoring shields/armor), and they even do metal (which I think is where they started if memory serves) with Pentakill (what it's called for getting 5 kills rapidly on enemy champions and calls out in-game). I really dig "Lost Chapter". They even did a 45 minute concert that was interactive for them.

Even though the group is no longer active, give f(x)'s "Red Light" a shot. Or subunit Luna & Amber collab with R3hab "Wave". More (G)I-DLE would be good, "Lion" or "Uh-Oh" whichever you haven't done yet. ITZY comes out with bangers, start with "Dalla Dalla". Or go old school with the queens of 2nd generation, Girls Generation (aka SNSD) "You Think". That should give you some material to work with!

Riot Games who made League of Legends gets different artists time to time to promote the game and new skins. K/DA is made of Soyeon and Miyeon of (G)Idle, Lexie Lu who is a Chinese artist, Madison Beer and Jaira Burns are American artists. They dropped an EP for the game. The EP also has other artists. I recommend another group call True Damage and their song Giants which also has Soyeon in it. It is one of my favorite League of Legends song.

It started with kda pop stars for worlds 2018. Then they used a different crew apart from akali for worlds 2019 with true damage.2020 everyone was spamming socials with that we wanted more kda and they started with more and release a smaller EP with some more songs to it. I Personally didn’t like the ep songs to much but Baddest and villian are generally liked. Riot never strikes reactions because it’s free publicity for them on the game so feel free to do all of kda and any worlds songs like Rise and legends never die. League has a huge community every video with a league worlds song like this going to get tons of views and usually bring in tons of subs from the league community

K/DA was initially created to sell skins for the game in 2018 with their debut song POP/STARS.The group consists of 4 LOL champions: Akali (voiced by Soyeon from (G)-Idle), Evelynn (voiced by Madison Beer), Ahri (voiced by Miyeon of (G)-Idle), and Kai'Sa (voiced by Jaira Burns). The feature for MORE is a new LOL champion (Seraphine, voiced by Chinese artist Lexie Liu). Their most recent EP is called All Out, but the B-sides have different artists voicing the K/DA. If you like the rapping, you should check out Soyeon's solo work from her latest EP called Windy. Lexie Liu also has some great songs worth checking out.

K/DA was originally created to promote new skins for the characters in game, but they became so popular they are now holding their own in the music world too, they are just that good. You definitely need to check out their debut song called Pop/Stars which has both an animated music video like this one, but also a live performance at the opening ceremony of the 2018 league of legends world championship. Both are worth watching! 👍
