JYP messed up so bad with GOT7. Imagine if they'd had good promotions and capitalized on the fact that 3 of the 7 were fluent in english at debut while JB and Jinyoung were actively studying and improving as well. They could've given BTS a run for their money! (saying this as someone who got into kpop in 2016 because of GOT7 and BTS and am still aghase and army)

At the beginning of the video JYP answers that he had not thought that they would get this far, being an experimental group, and with the songs of Back Door, and God's Menu. He even said that thanks to them he “composed another hit song” and that they had changed a lot with those songs. The channel where I saw the video was in "STRAY K SUBS" (Sorry if there is bad English, I'm still learning it.)

it is based on sales, charts and etc but also their visualization of the videos, hashtags, number of searches, tags, followers, etc… It CAN be based on sales and more bcs that tells you an approximate of how much people/fans are waiting for them, the concerts too, the charts more like streams bcs if you rank higher then your song is more popular also your group. For the other it’s obvious, the followers, hashtags and all that.
