I’m pretty sure your theory was right. Soojin and Soyeon are from hell (devils), Miyeon and Shuhua are from the heaven (goddess’) , and Yuqi and Minnie are in the middle. Both Yuqi and Minnie are stuck on whether to be a devil or a goddess. I don’t know, but that’s what I think.

In 2:05 Yuqi is Minnie’s Guardian Angel trying time look for Minnie in hell. While Soojin is the ruler of the underworld, she tries to keep Minnie on the dark side. And In 3:10 , we see soyeon. She plays the purgatory. And you can see her prepare her weapons. Ready to kill Minnie. Meanwhile heaven, Miyeon finds out Minnie has fallen. So she sends Shuhua to find Minnie in hell. But in 4:29 , Shuhua caught captured by Soojin so she’s now in the dark side. Maybe you’re wondering what happened to Yuqi. Well was also captured by Soojin and is taken to the dark side as it is metaphorically shown in 3:51 . In 4:23 Shuhua is in Soyeon’s purgatory. In 4:05 Minnie is shooting herself because she couldn’t handle it anymore. In 4:49 the phrase says ab imo pectore which means from the bottom of my heart in Latin. At the end the dark side won over Minnie and everyone else in heaven. That’s why in the teaser photos, the black images are “true” and the white images are “fake”. So what does this all mean? It means I have no idea but I’m still trying to find out.

The Characters SOYEON: LILITH SOOJIN: THE DEVIL MINNIE: EVE MIYEON: GOD SHUHUA AND YUQI: FALLEN ANGELS Theory: Soojin is the Devil. Her makeup, costume, and platform where she sits depicts her as a dark and eerie being. She was seen holding an apple, where in the bible, the Devil used it to tempt Eve. In a way, the chorus, was like a song to her. It depicted her ways of temptation. Soyeon is Lilith, as she was portrayed in scenes in Hell and she was close and praising the Devil (Soojin). Minnie (Eve) was being dragged in the beginning like she was being thrown in to the asylum-like white set which symbolizes the wastelands outside the Garden of Eden. Soyeon (Lilith) was also seen here, suffering the same fate after she refuses to obey Adam. The clothes she is wearing will gradually change, from being clean to being tainted or "corrupted" in the end, symbolizing the temptation of Soojin. Also she was seen in the mud, or Hell. The people dancing around Minnie symbolizes that temptation. Miyeon is God. The platform she was sitting on was surrounded by clouds and lights, and her face was full of sparkling diamond make up to make her appear divine. You can also see how her platform was higher than Soojin, meaning she sits in a higher position than the Devil. Yuqi and Shuhua are angels that served Miyeon, however, they were tempted and corrupted by Soojin, as you can see in Yuqi falling in to the void and Shuhua turning into Soyeon (Lilith). Okay but the fact that you can hear how unique each of their voices are makes their comeback even better. Yuqi's raspy and powerful voice, Soyeons and Minnies edge that comes with their vocals,Soojins sultry yet delicate voice. Okay, so, I *do* like the song, and I think it'll only grow on me as time goes on, however, as interesting and diverse (G)I-DLE's concepts are, my main gripe is that for the past few comebacks, Yuqi and Miyeon have gotten the pre-choruses, and that's it. They deserve to shine way more and I really wish they would switch up the line distribution a bit and experiment with different roles, like a Yuqi rap, or give Miyeon the high notes she deserves at the end of a chorus or something. Like, Yuqi has such a deep and husky voice, that can be utilised in a unique way I feel. Even Shuhua's part has almost the exact same flow as her part in Lion. The concept is amazing, the MV is unsettling and cool and I love the girls; they are one of my ult groups, but I really wish that Soyeon would switch it up just a bit. It's getting a bit stale in my opinion. Can't wait for the crackhead content though, and I honestly do really like 'Luv U' and 'Maybe'.

The mv is basically YuQi being Miyeon’s angel and thats why YuQi is looking up to her in that one scene. And I believe that the glass with blood YuQi dropped was supposed to be the person that ruined her «reasons» (as described in the lyrics) and because of that the glass fell down into what Looks to be hell. And then I believe Soyeon doesn’t know her side which is why we can see her be in both the more dark and the more bright sets. I also think the «she» they’re singing about in the chorus is supposed to be Soojin as she was whispering to Shuhua in that one scene. Minnie and Shuhua are supposed to symbolize both Angels, but because Shuhua is sharing the set with Miyeon in that one scene, maybe she is like the daughter of Miyeon aka the princess as we can see in the mv. Minnie Discovers the world where YuQi can be found where YuQi again open the door up to Miyeon’s scene.

My little theory: I think Soojin had tempted Minnie in to following and worshiping her and Minnie is trying to find the light again but as you can see her hands becomes black, which I think can be showing that she's slowly being engulfed in to Soojin's words. All the other dancers were raising their hands up towards Soojin and Soyeon followed them too, which shows that Soojin can be that god that they worshiped and followed, tempting the others with her beauty, grace, and words. I think Soyeon is the one that's trapped and can't get back up to heaven, but Minnie was the one who was resisting, but in the end it shows her engulfed too just like Soyeon. Miyeon seems to be the one telling others like Yuqi to not be tempted by Soojin telling them that behind Soojin's beauty, she's the devil who is evil, and Miyeon drops the gauntlet in to hell showing what will happen if you fall in to her trap, turning the wine or whatever that was inside the gauntlet in to fire once it reaches hell. Yuqi sees that when she opens up that door. For Shuhua, I think she was once tempted but was able to recover, thus showing Soojin whispering to Shuhua at first, but then later it shows Soyeon. Shuhua also seems to be the one who was guiding others how to heal and recover from being tempted by Soojin. Soyeon was the one who I believe was not able to escape hell. I think the apple represents that temptation and it shows how they won't be able to leave.

In first scene we see minnie being dragged into hell after she tasted wine and her pureness is fading.then we see soyeon lips with wine which means she is also taking wine but she don't regret it cuz it is who she is.then we see minnie trying to escape that means she wants to be pure again...which leads to yuqi scene where you can see she is looking at a a figure and is scared.. which means she knows that she is losing her pureness..... And miyeon is only the pure one who is refusing to accept yuqi as she sits in the throne cuz she knows that yuqi lost her purity but later on she realises that she is alone in heaven so she falls in to hell. we again see minnie dancing scene in which the dancers are trying to stop her from escaping...where as Minnie is still trying as hard as she can to escape. Then we see soojin who is the "devil" And luring all pure member to her we can see that she was once pure where all members are in white but she is holding an apple . As we know apple was cursed in Bible.. so she is luring all members to her.....then suha is also pure where she is spreading violet or purple sent to her followers...but in next scene soojin Whispered something in her her which made suha to change her path... And at last we see that Minnie is tired of trying to escape the hell and is turning black...now she is facing the fact that she no longer have purity in her....and is in mud .

If you're curious enough to know the theory based on me, well here you go: Minnie and Soyeon are both in the same white room (intro and first verse). This describes that they're still sane. While later, you'll see them with some people with white outfits with black hand marks around all of the outfits and both of them are being surrounded by them (means that these people are provoking them to make sins) (chorus). To explain, at the start they don't know sin and darkness (white room) but later sin got into them and poisoned their hearts giving them euphoria or momentary happiness. (Chorus: Oh my God, she took me to the sky. Oh my God, she showed me all the stars). This happiness didn't last long, because in the end (Last Chorus), both of them are in the mud. This means that the woman that helped them made their hearts stained by sin and they felt guilty afterwards that they can't escape the darkness surrounding them. Hence, Minnie streched her hands, looking for help. Also the 2nd Verse Rap of Soyeon describes a lot about her situation and how she's being controlled by sin and her temperance to stay away from sin didn't help her because the woman threw her temperance into the black hole. There's also a scene where Minnie had a nosebleed with a black blood and her hands, face are stained with black. Sin got into her and she can't escape anymore. Yuqi in the Pre-chorus (lyrics), showed that she's struggling and in pain and needs some help. She said (in the lyrics), she let her in, meaning, the sin got in from her. Same as Minnie, she's sitting in the throne and afterwards, she let the sin got into her because she needs some help. They both got the help that they want but it turns out that the help are tempting them to make sin. Shuhua (Bridge) is saying something, she said she spreads her strong purple scent and spread it across the sky, she also said "I printed dark red love in my face". Let's discuss the scene. She's in the middle of people in white. The meaning of this is she wants to help others that are provoked by this woman that making them make more sin. She spreads love but love isn't enough to make them go away from sin. But who's the evil that lured them all into sin? Soojin (2nd Verse), preferencing from lyrics. She's the only one not asking for help but instead she's letting someone 'come in' (lyrics). She represents violet and black meaning darkness. She is in the same set as Miyeon but she's not in the throne instead she is at the bottom with the people in black. There's also a scene of her holding a white apple also symbols that she's luring all the members in sin. Why white? She's disguising sin as good and pure. One of the last scenes (bridge) are Soojin whispering to Shuhua luring her into sin. At the end, sin conquered the world.

I got this from reddit but this is the theory; Minnie and Soyeon are fallen angels. Different is, Soyeon literally dancing her way to commit sin, so she went out of heaven on her own will. While Minnie was kicked out because she was caught of sinning. Yuqi : is a human. During her first part, look at her worried face, and then you can see a glimpse of Soojin and Yuqi fell after that. This probably means that Yuqi who supposedly looking pure outside was also tested by temptation. She looked upward and there's Miyeon, Yuqi's face showed guilt and Miyeon dropped her wine goblet. (Wine was also used as a symbol of blessing and judgement throughout the Bible. Drinking a cup of strong wine to the dregs and getting drunk are sometimes presented as a symbol of God's judgement and wrath, and Jesus alludes this cup of wrath, which he several times says he himself will drink) Miyeon is a forgotten Goddess in this whole plot. "Forgotten" because while she was on her throne, she's looking sadly at her people who didn't worship her as much (because the dancers were not looking at her and they were all in the dark) Refer to Shuhua's set as comparison as her followers on their knees facing her. Shuhua is not a goddess but a heavenly being, probably archangel. She doesnt pass judgement like Miyeon did but she is worshipped more than Miyeon. Soojin is the devil. Soyeon referred Soojin on her rap as "The Piper". Based on folk story, the piper did free the town of its rats, but the town council cheated him of his pay. Bent on revenge, therefore, the pied piper then lured all of the children away. There's a glimpse of Soojin in shackled. I believe, Miyeon restrained her. So when Soojin was free, she was hellbent to take as many of Miyeon's people with her as a revenge. Take note that Soojin's expression was void of joy, but a little bit of sorrow. But her expression changed at her second verse of "Oh My God" where she looked more confident in her decision to take all Miyeon's people to her side. That was why she whispered to Shuhua and tried to lure her, but instead of Shuhua, Soyeon was the one who came. By this time, there's a scene where Minnie shot herself. This song specifically talks about love, desire and reverence for a SHE (wlw win!), who seems to be divine in nature but is so desirable that induces the worshipers into falling into temptation due to their desire (reminds us of some carnal representations of religious ecstasy in art). Soojin represents the goddess, Soyeon and Minie represent the fallen worshipers, while Shuhua, Yuqi and Miyeon are the worshipers who haven't fallen into temptation YET, so they're pure. See the transition from Soojin kissing Shuhua's head, when Suhua finished her verse and says she fell in love, as if she accepts her and then Shuhua transforms in Soyeon.

The theme this entire generation of Kpop. Is serious, dark, almost theatrical. It is more "art" focused instead of "charm" focused. From what I gathered, Miyeon and Soojin are the main forces (purity and tempatation) just to put it short, the rest of the girls were all tempted by Soojin. Soyeon was in the white room like Minnie, Soyeon was engulfed by temptation, whereas Minnie, was tempted but fought back, which is why she looks disheveled in the ending. Yuqi looks like she was one who upheld purity (reason why their parts (miyeon and yuqi) in the video entertwine). The wine falling from Miyeons hand representing Yuqis fall, also Yuqi seemed to be running from something; and her backqround looked similar to Miyeons room. As for Shuhua, she was tried by Soojin, but it didn't work. (Look for the part where Soojin whispers to Soyeon and Shuhua) also Shuhua was in the same throne room as Miyeon. P.s:the wine scenes can represent temptation (which was obvious) like how many was drowned in it, why it fell from miyeons hand and how it ties with yuqi, etc. Sorry for the long comment.

My theory: Soojin is the main character. She is goddess of hell and attracts all other girls, when you look at the lines, everyone is feeling pain, and she is only one not feeling pain. She said'come in' and 'like it'...and about the whisper, she said 'from the bottom of my heart' to shuhua and soyeon. Like tempting them with her charm. In the last part too, she is just being gorgeous with rose petals and red and black color outfits, while minnie is in dirt, like she falls into hell because of soojin. Ab Imo Pectori ( Latin phrase )- means with bottom of my heart. My theory ( it's a long one) It talks about the dark side of love, and how the temptation corrupts you. So the 1st scene with Minnie is like the white place she is in and it shows the innocence and how the temptation is trying to enter her mind ( white clear liquid showing innocence leaving and red liquid temptation taking over her mind) . The next scene with Soyeon denotes the same white innocence, but she is going restless over it. Then both of them is introduced to the temptation through Yuqi, who is already corrupted by the dark love. And the scene with Miyeon shows how she is the symbol of the purity and innocence ( kinda like the heaven owner itself) and how she rejects the red liquid ( temptation of dark love maybe) and just accepts the pure love... Chorus shows how Soyeon is already corrupted now and Minnie is fighting to get away from the claws of soldiers of the temptations ( see those dancers have dirty handmarks all over their outfit). Then we are introduced to the queen of the temptations ( maybe lilith herself, what with the apple holding reference and the chorus lyrics) behind her is the pedestal, her throne of hell. Then we are again taken to scene of Soyeon ( the rap) to observe how fast she is falling for the temptation and getting corrupted by the temptation. Then Miyeon getting kinda pissed about how the dark temptation is affecting her subjects while Yuqi shows how much she has gotten corrupted ( her eye makeup). 2nd chorus shows Soojin rejoicing her power and Minnie still fighting hard. 3rd verse introduces Shuhua, another subject of Miyeon who believes in the pure love and then, is again getting tempted by Soojin ( purple before then painted my face with red) and then whisper part shows how close Soojin gets to corrupt Shuhua but at the end she rejects the temptations and soojin leaves her but still accepts Soyeon( whisper part)..I think the Latin part shows how much both the side is fighting. Then the last chorus shows how far down the pit Soyeon has fallen and Soojin rejoicing the new subjects and just displaying her reach and power as a queen of hell. THEN THE CLOSING- It shows Minnie who has won the battle but now has the scars of dark love left all over her. The last scene shows how far she fell too but then she came back with her determination (the latin tattoo - with bottom of my heart), telling it's never too late and must keep their determination strong... I think Shuhua is the main character, is the "She" they are talking about just because the lyrics "I color myself with strong purple scent", the purple color is commonly used by the catholic church, that color represents power and royalty. She is in a room full of people worshiping her. So I think she is the one representing something earthly, she is one of the humans there. Then she says "I print dark red love on my face and whatever people say fall in love", meaning that she is the one causing all the dispute. I think Minnie is the other human who is being tormented by Shuhua. Soyeon is the guardian angel of Minnie, who in the beginning is wearing a white dress, turning into black then turning into red through the mv, meaning that she lost the fight against Soojin who is either a demon or the devil itself. Then around the min 9:02, you can see this scene where Soyeon is looking up to Miyeon (God) trying to drag her out from hell. Or also, it could be an inverse version, Minnie being the guardian angel and Soyeon the human tormented by Shuhua.

In 2:05 Yuqi is Minnie’s Guardian Angel trying time look for Minnie in hell. While Soojin is the ruler of the underworld, she tries to keep Minnie on the dark side. And In 3:10 , we see soyeon. She plays the purgatory. And you can see her prepare her weapons. Ready to kill Minnie. Meanwhile heaven, Miyeon finds out Minnie has fallen. So she sends Shuhua to find Minnie in hell. But in 4:29 , Shuhua caught captured by Soojin so she’s now in the dark side. Maybe you’re wondering what happened to Yuqi. Well was also captured by Soojin and is taken to the dark side as it is metaphorically shown in 3:51 . In 4:23 Shuhua is in Soyeon’s purgatory. In 4:05 Minnie is shooting herself because she couldn’t handle it anymore. In 4:49 the phrase says ab imo pectore which means from the bottom of my heart in Latin. At the end the dark side won over Minnie and everyone else in heaven. That’s why in the teaser photos, the black images are “true” and the white images are “fake”. So what does this all mean? It means I have no idea but I’m still trying to find out.
