Wobbly..but no camera weight on it. The thing is irresistible at that price, and that bag, like the bag for the Concept model, which can be found on ebay for 85 dollars, but doesn't go horizontal, is amazingly high quality material. Opening one up is like Christmas. C R A Z Y great for the price. Thank you, Ken Faith Co.

Also, the center column has a hook at the bottom to attach a weight or your camera bag for added stability.

Issue with these ball heads and padded plates. You can't get complete snug with the plate and a camera body, especially noticable with a long lens or a medium lens like a vintage pentax 135mm 2.8 that is a real tank but not very big. No amount of plate tightening or ball head tightening stops the camera and lens from tilting down a bit after you let the camera go. You have to loosen the ball, raise the angle of the lens a bit higher than you want, retighten, and then see where it drops too after. This is no way to run an army.

How long is that arm in the horizontal orientation?

Without the ball head the horizontal arm is 41CM and with the ball head it’s 49CM.

I can't tell for certain, because i haven't tested it in these kinds of conditions. But what i can tell is that it's a very sturdy and solid tripod. Hope that helps.

Spent nearly $200 and waited over a month to receive an even high-end tripod. Low-quality aluminum, faulty design, the locking device can't tightly lock up, the pole can't hold the camera steadily, called and emailed, they posted me some irrelevant shiity parts, totally not worth the money, customer service was terrible.
