Just bought the exact one myself (SA254T1) and so far very happy with it. Superb build quality particularly seen with the action, and now I see how useful that is while filming. I'll supplement this with a smaller one later. Thanks for the upload.

I bought a used Gitzo series 3 a couple years ago, it is about 75 inches high fully extended with the flat top and I just picked up a 12inch center column for it. I love it.

Nice piece of kit. I have used a Slik 700 Pro tripod leg set for about 12 years now coupled with a Slik AF2100 pistol grip ball head. It handles my 6 oz Zero Image 2000 pinhole camera, larger Ranica Viasna 8x10 pinhole camera all the way up a 4x5 Sinar F rail camera without trouble. It will extend to almost 7 feet tall but is also heavy being made for heavy cameras.

Hi I use a Velbon Model AE from the 1980's bought new by me and used both for pro work and pleasure still good made in Japan, I also use A Velbon Xtravel vey neat little tripod and lastly a 7Dayshop mono pod. cameras I have use on these include Pentax 6x7 Richoh Diacord, Nikon F4 Nikon, FE2, Pentax ME super,Leica iii (1936), Nikon D200, Fujifilm X-T10 and variuos movie cameras , Beaulieu R16, Bolex H8, and many super 8mm cameras inc Canon 318M. I have used many other tripods but these did not belong to me they were either borrowed or hired. I Really enjoy your channel, I do my post in a PC as I do not have room for a darkroom. I do process all my B/W film both still and Movie.

Are use the K&F con sept TM 2324 62 inch tripod similar to yours. I bought mine from Amazon in November 2017. I went through about two or three other variations of tripods and it was the solid aluminum frame similar to yours that I finally fell in love with this tripod. Just like you I never really found any that were as reliable as I felt until I bought mine. For anybody else reading this review the K&F is by far in my experience one of the best tripods I’ve run into. I’ve had mine for almost 4 years now and it is still rock-solid!! After seeing a few of the extra features on your version, I just might get a second one and get the same model as yours!! Again thanks Roger, even though I’m at the point in my photography where I learn small amounts of photography, I still continue to learn some and you still continue to show me things that I still don’t know. Don’t stop what your doing. It was you who showed me things no one else could! Don’t ever stop!!

I’ve got a Fotopro Aircross X that looks very similar to that one from KF. Not as flexible as the one you show there, but it is made of carbon fibre. Making it very light. I also use a Manfrotto tripod for my medium format cameras.

I've been using this exact tripod for about a year now. I did add an additional quick release top plate compatible with a backpack strap attachment I use while hiking. Good, solid tripod for the price.

I use an older (70's) tripod that is heavy . Bogen is the maker and it is rock solid. The head moves 90° and tilts front to back. It does the job and stability is where shines. It lacks a lot of the features of yours. It was expensive in its day but I picked it up cheap (used) from a an old time camera store. It kind of sucks in the winter as the metal gets cold. I bought for my fujifilm gx680III but use it for everything. F2, Bronica S2A. It just works and doubles as a weapon if needed.

I've been looking for a replacement for my Manfrotto 3205/3038 combination that will handle the overhead shots. I need to look at this more and see what the weight rating on it is.

Im using Sirui tripod/monopod with the biggest ball head from Sirui too. Same functions as yours, except the overhead shot capability. It can hold my 4x5 no problem at all. It is heavy, but we are men after all, we can handle it :) thanks for the video Roger. Keep shooting

One of my all time favorites is the bulky Slik Pro 700DX w/ Manfrotto fluid head. Though the past 6 months I have been using and loving the iFootage TA7 & TC7. My Mefoto Globetrotter unfortunately has cost me nearly $1500 in a lens and filters over the 2 years I used it. It has since been retired to a lighting tripod

I have been using a neewer carbon fibre tripod for a while. It is surprising well built and cheap as chips. I've been very surprised by the quality of alot of K&F concepts products. I've bought a heap of DSLR camera adaptors and they all work well

I've been using the same tripod for about a year. Overall its held up well for the money and I'd recommend it. Two slight negatives. I do find the fluid head comes loose and needs some loctite to hold it. Also the legs are a bit of a pain to loosen/tighten and they regularly move. Clip locking such as with the manfrotto would make this the perfect tripod. As for the plate screw being too long. I bought some new ones off ebay for a couple of bucks. The baseplate seems pretty universal and many non oem ones will fit.

I had this very same tripod and ended up returning it. I love the concept and thought it would be a wonderful addition to my kit. However, the problem ended up being a wobbly connection on the head. It was wobbly no matter what camera I attached to it. DSLR, Rangefinder etc.. Considering it was rated 20lb. weight tolerance, I was surprised that my cameras were easily moved side to side. I can assure you they were sufficiently tightened to the base plate. I am not sure why this was a problem, but that is what I experienced.
